The staff were so helpful and so nice to talk to

My room was next to the main door to the corridor. The door was of course a fire door for safety but due to the heaviness of the door it created a vacuum on my room door so in the night when guests would use the main door on the corridor to their rooms it moved my door so sounded like people were coming into my room. As I was staying alone it was jumpy and I did have disturbed sleep in the early hours. However when I explained this to the receptionist who was so lovely she said she was grateful for the feedback and would speak to management.

Really good location, easy to access the local bars and nightlife. I stayed the night before my wedding and the team really looked after myself and fellow guests. On the wedding day me and my husband returned to our room to find a bottle of Prosecco and a congratulations desert which was a lovely surprise. The only issue we had was with my mother’s room, but after explaining the situation they automatically moved her to another room which happened to be the deluxe suite. Kenzie, Jade, Zoe and Craig made sure we had the best stay and provided exceptional customer service. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel in general, location, bars and staff.

Key cards not working properly. Constantly unable to gain access to room. We had accessible room, but found the wardrobe rail was too high and difficult to hang clothes unless 6ft tall +. Needs clothes pegs in bathroom for towels/bathrobes also need pegs for outdoor coats. A chair would be nice instead of having t sit on the bed all the time. Didn't like the fact that we needed to go to the bold hotel across the road for breakfast, would have preferred to eat at our hotel.

Nice hotel, very modern with attractive decor and in good repair. Lovely, comfy Queensize bed. Overall excellent and perfect if you're in Southport for an event or evening out. Breakfast was across the road at the sister hotel, The Bold, which is also very nicely designed and maintained. Breakfast was extremely nice and generous portions.

The ONLY bad point was the shower in bedroom 116, which was an electric one, and was absolutely awful. Tried every setting on it but there was no middle ground it either scalded the skin off you, or was freezing. Tried it again in the morning and managed to coax a pathetic luke warm dribble from it to wash under. Very disappointed, otherwise I would have given full marks across the board.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was immaculate and the bedrooms were lovely and clean and comfortable There was plenty choice of bar areas to cater for everyone.

As a disabled person I didn't like the idea of having to go across the road to another hotel for breakfast. However we were recommended to have breakfast in the room. So we ordered what we wanted. On the morning the breakfast arrived 45 minutes later than scheduled and was all cold and we got no cutlery or drinks so had to ring down to reception to ask for them. Plus we just got 2 standard full English and items we ordered we didn't get so overall disappointing breakfast experience Also the hotel is described as accessible. They don't tell you the lift only goes to the 1st floor in the description so if you get a room on the 2nd floor you need to climb stairs so make sure you get a 1st floor room if you have mobility issues

The staff were really good especially Claudia on Reception she was very friendly and helpful and even gave us a room upgrade without even knowing it was our wedding anniversary!!! The room was lovely with a great walk in shower and plenty of room to move! Breakfast and dinner are taken at sister hotel The Bold across the road, we just had breakfast and it was a good standard. We had a lovely view of Lord Street from our window. The Grand Brasserie next door to the hotel is fabulous with lovely cocktails, gorgeous decor, and has a restaurant too.

I don't like to complain as the upgrade was lovely but two things could be improved to make the room we had perfect. The wardrobe unit was too small we were only there for one night and just about had enough room for coats as well. If you were there two or three nights you would be struggling for room as there was only one drawer too. Also the dressing table had no light directly over it so doing make up was difficult. I am a sit downer to do mine and only had enough light if I perched on the end of the bed which is not very practical. The rest of the room was lit up well except for the dressing table area. I'm sure these things could be easily fixed, and we loved the rest of the room, the bed was really comfortable! 😴

The Hotel is super central and on the main road. It was very clean and relaxed, the bar areas are lovely to have a drink and relax in. we ate at the sister hotel across the road for breakfast and evening meal - the menu style on this looks a little unappealing and I was thinking twice about going to eat there for the venue itself, staff and food were all very nice. We will be returning.

nothing - if I was being picky the room was chill on arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe kings lots of room but we had to turn the air heating up to warm the space and the bathroom radiator didn’t work, or at least we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on!! … we didn’t complain so the hotel is unaware as I’m sue they would probably have sorted.

The staff were really friendly despite us arriving at the same time as an awful thunderstorm which had flooded their cellars. We were only just in time for food so they booked us a table at the attached Chloe's Bar and got us checked in quickly. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very modern and looked like it had just been decorated. The air con was a great addition to the room. The food in the attached Chloe's bar was excellent, would recommend the sea bream, with a lovely atmosphere and good service.

Great hotel lovely staff would go back again only thing I didn't like was when your in bed at night the doors to the landing are very loud and bang everytime someone goes through you need to put something on them so when they shut its not so loud ... and also staff cleaning the rooms can be quiet noisy in a morning in the landing...

The noise of the doors to landing shuting at night very loud need to put something on them so people in bed can't hear and the lights that come on the landing through the night stay on a while and the light shines through the bedroom door and lights the bedroom up ..pillows was not comfortable for me ..and also the lights in room are not great to put makeup on to light in bathroom and to dark in room itself...

The live music was exemplary - the piano lounge stunning and the team incredibly attentive. Despite being crazy busy Kelsie and her team were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Ellie on reception was so lovely, a smile that would light up any room. At breakfast, Leanne was a wizard…… she remembered every order from a huge table without writing anything down - no idea how that was even possible? All in all, a thoroughly fab time was had by all - well done to Lord Street Hotel team.
