it was an idyllic location for where we needed to be for our concert in Cannock Forrest. It was also in very close quarters of a pub at the end of the road filled with some friendly locals. We were staying on the top floor. The room offered some amazing views across Cannock Forrest which stretched across the hills from the view of the windows.

We had such a good time, we didn’t notice anything out of place or anything worthy of mentioning.

Our stay at Victoria's was exceptional. She couldn't have made us feel more welcome during our overnight stay! She fed us with tea and cake, along with a fabulous breakfast (croissants, sourdough toast, fresh fruit and some traditional oatcakes)! The room so lovely and super clean. It was a pleasure to meet Victoria and we wouldn't hesitate to come and stay again! Thank you! Stacey & Jade xxx

Nothing whatsoever! Everything was perfect

It was lovely to meet Victoria and stay in Halday. Very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, we had a lovely breakfast. Victoria was expecting us 😁 and gave a very warm welcome 🙏 The room was just what we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. We are on route walking Lands end to John O Groats, so we appreciate an easy check-in and warm, friendly stay. Thank you, and good luck with everything.

We stayed here 1 night to go to a coronation fete . The place was so lovely ,comfy bed . We were welcomed from Victoria when we arrived . She was so lovely . Victoria even met us at the fete and it felt like I'd known her for ages. She was amazing .Such a kind lady . Breakfast was gorgeous. Will definitely return again .

Going to stay at the Halday is like going to see an old friend. Warm welcome, comfy room, pleasant company. Really enjoyed our breakfasts. Highly recommend, if we go back to Staffordshire, we will definitely book to stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Suited us just fine

Location was perfect for getting in to Stafford for a two day work related course and being in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was lovely; plenty of choice and beautifully presented. Calm and peaceful and host friendly without being intrusive.

The warmest welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay. Beautiful home. Will definitely stay again.

Nowhere to hang coats and no plug sockets near mirrors, made getting ready a little awkward but only a little, because we were invited to use the entire house if needed.

Victoria was a lovely host and very accomdating. The continenental breakfast was very substantial.

There was no kettle etc in the room for making drinks although Victoria made them for us and my husband went down to collect tea in the morning.

Victoria is an excellent host, and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, light and airy and very comfortable. Breakfast was far more than we expected and was a really lovely treat. Thanks Victoria :)

One of the nicest places that i have stayed so friendly and welcoming really clean nothing was to much, and in a lovely little village I was made to feel like a family member.FANSTASTIC
