We appreciated the help offered to convey our luggage upstairs. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots of power points. We felt the owners had worked very hard to provide an excellent standard of accommodation. There was an excellent choice of breakfast and it was perfectly cooked.

Access to rooms is via a rather steep staircase. The room would benefit from a couple of chairs - there was plenty of space. It was difficult to control the temperature of the electric shower. Downstairs is a typical local pub and the evening menu was rather restricted to burgers, pizza etc. so we chose to eat elsewhere.

Well located, yet surprisingly peaceful accommodation situated close to the river Teme and the main road passing through Tenbury Wells. Clean, airy bedroom with comfortable beds, coat hooks and a fully opening window. Staff could not have been more helpful, even providing a table fan to keep the room's air moving on a warm night. Ample tasty food and a good drink selection. The breakfast was excellent.

Hot water flow and pressure at the hand basin was a bit pathetic (in contrast to the shower which was very good). Duvets were excessively thick and bulky for warm summer weather. Maybe a top sheet could be provided in the room as an alternative lightweight and cooler covering?

Good location and easy to find. Staff very friendly. Good choice for breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Comfortable bed, and blackout blind very effective

One side of the bed was a little collapsed, I suspect from constant using it as a seat. No chair ( wouldn't have been room for one really) but I suspect previous visitors used the bed as a chair instead of the stool provided. Didn't bother me as I slept on the other side, and found it very comfortable. But it may be difficult for a couple, it does give the sensation of sliding out of bed( though of course that's unlikely. I only write this to draw the owner's attention to it, as clearly they wouldn't check that aspect of the room

we had two rooms , the family and the single, both were very well equipped and lovely simple but stylish decor. nice and modern & plenty of space in both rooms with lots of natural light . I liked that there was a full length mirror as we were getting ready for a wedding. there was also an iron which came in useful for my husband’s shirt . the beds were comfortable and the whole room was very clean. plenty of towels available too. The bar area also had a nice modern feel. staff were friendly ,attentive and helpful throughout. it was great to have a superstore opposite so we could grab a few forgotten essentials. The hotel is right on the river and my daughter loved feeding the ducks on the morning we left. the village/town looked beautiful (although we only drove through) with lovely Tudor buildings. Breakfast was also lovely, there were no menus to look at but we were told we could order whatever we wanted. it arrived hot and tasty with lovely thick bread and real butter too (my favourite) .

the only negative points were the family room bathroom could have done with a tad more general cleaning as my daughter noticed lots of cobwebs and a spider in there . when we returned to the hotel around 11pm after the wedding we attended there was quite a lot of noise from the bar area, however it was not too noticeable once in our room and was to be expected as it was a pub on a Saturday night, however some guests may find this uncomfortable.

The location was fine - easy to find and no problems with parking (although I didn't arrive until 21.30 so the adjacent gym was closed). Very clean comfortable room and an excellent breakfast with good quality mostly local ingredients. There was a discrepancy between the price quoted by Booking.com and the charge on arrival, the manager couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful in sorting it out and refunding the difference. I understand that booking.com don't inform the hotel of the price they have sold the room at, I think doing this routinely would make everyone's life easier.

Was pleasantly surprised. Was expecting a run of the mill pub. But. It wasn't. Was well presented and comfortable. Staff were upbeat and happy which is always a bonus. Room was spacious. Shower was hot. Clean towels. WiFi through out the property. Smart TV in the room. Free view TV . But allows you to login to your own netflix, amazon video account etc. As its smart TV also allows you to access bbc iplayer and its hub etc Fresh new carpets. Comfortable new mattresses. Soft sheets and pillows. Nice black out blind. The village is beautiful. I didnt know it was here. Passed it many times. Happy I stopped off .

There was nothing to dislike. The village is a lovely little place

Excellent location…our room overlooked the river. Good welcome and a jolly atmosphere throughout our stay. Very good carvery at Sunday lunchtime…..much better than most others that I have had. Parking was available, which always helps a stay! Tenbury is a pleasant little town and The Bridge is a good place to stay if you are in the town. Nice breakfast. I liked the blinds in the room too!

The public bar is just below the room and can be quite loud. Not a criticism as we enjoyed the bar and the atmosphere, but some people might not like it.

Great location, friendly staff, definitely dog friendly. We had a double room at the front of the building and it was huge, it would easily have held 2 double beds, very comfy bed, very clean, nicely decorated and due to the extra glazing on the windows and the layout of the hotel there was very minimal noise from the bar below. Freshly cooked breakfast (delicious) included in the price we paid. Definitely recommend. We will definitely be back.

Car park can be a bit tight

Very convenient position. Good welcome from friendly staff. Parking space at side of building. This is really a traditional small town centre pub with pleasant rooms. Room had everything we needed. Hearty cooked breakfast (although not a fan of tinned tomatoes!) Orange juice provided on request with no problem. Good to relax in bar when returned after day out.

As others have commented, the breakfast consists of the cooked option only - although you could select exactly what you had- for example poached not fried egg and everything was good quality. Whilst our room was generally quiet, we could hear our next door neighbour who had a persistent cough. We stayed at August Bank Holiday time and it was rather expensive.

Rooms were recently renovated and comfortable with stylish decor. The pub downstairs was pretty quiet on a Wednesday evening and the rooms are a distance from the pub so you’re not bothered by noise. The cooked breakfast was good but it was basically all that was on offer so no cereal or jam/marmalade to go with the toast. The evening meal menu is heavily dominated by burgers of a wide variety of types but are good. Tenbury itself is lovely, and the location near the river is great.

You might struggle as a vegan or vegetarian here given the limited menu but the staff were very nice and and accommodating so worth asking. It would have been good to have a fan in the room as it was a hot evening.
