The View

The room was clean and comfortable and really easy to find. The facilities were great and bathroom had a walk in shower which was fab. Was a lovely place to stay and would absolutely stay again

WiFi needed to keep signing in every 30mins which made working remotely difficult Blinds in one of the rooms got stuck so couldn't put it down. Room was very hot so had to open the window in the middle of the night (I'm not a heat person but for other people it probally would have been fine)

Stayed at the view for 2 nights for a friend's wedding. The whole experience was great. The rooms were small but was not a problem. Very clean with lovely shower rooms. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with bottled water and biscuits each day. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer. They thought of everything. Also a good sized TV with Netflix too. All staff very helpful and friendly. The wedding was lovely and the wedding planner on the day was so organised. All in all a great experience all around, including that beautiful view. Would highly recommend.

Really comfortable small room. Bed was surprisingly great to sleep on. Room temperature easy to control, which is a great find in a room these days. Bathroom clean and well provisioned. The icing on the cake was the breakfast service over and above as the kitchen was obviously closed on Christmas Morning. Fresh mill delivered to the room, pastries, fruit, cereal - no complaints at all, but don't expect this every day. 😉

More direct, stair free access from the carpark would have been welcome. My wife isn't that mobile. An inconvenience but not a showstopper this time.

What a lovely place! Huge car park, stunning views, excellent room and fantastically friendly staff. We received a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the bar area to collect our keys. The room was large, very clean and lovely and warm! We woke to a stunning view across the golf course, then had an excellent breakfast overlooking the view, in the Clubhouse above the accommodation. Fiona in the bar was very friendly and helpful. We loved the place, its an extra bonus have the clubhouse in hand for a drink and food. Thanks guys!

Comfy bed. Small room but laid out well. Great shower.

Lots of cobwebs on ceiling above bed. I removed myself. Been there a while. Bit of a sewage smell when I first got in the room. Seemed to be coming from the bathroom. Pulled toilet chain, sprayed a bit of my perfume and left extractor fan on. Did die down but not completely. Nice long low shelf with tea facilities & chair opposite bed, but no mirror. You have to stand in the small hallway to the bathroom to do hair etc. Not ideal.

As the name says, the view from the balcony with the sun setting was lovely. The food was excellent, freshly made, good portions and very tasty. The service at check in and through the evening was friendly, helpful and attentive.

The noise is a bit of an issue for the rooms as the bar area noise comes through the ceiling. It didn't bother me unduly and it was made very clear from the get go that this applies at this location.

The staff were polite and friendly and reception helped with our booking well. Food was nice to beautiful scenery and watched the golfers play

We stayed in the disabled room which was a lovely size bedroom and bathroom. The only let down was the small glass panel for the shower which is not enough the floor was covered in water which is dangerous for us and we had to put all the towels down even though there's drainage. Please consider putting in extra glass panel for safely reasons.

Amazing views, fab territory for long walks, nearby golf course. Close to a very good restaurant (Tewim Bury Farm). Very polite staff, offered room refreshments and cleaning daily, called taxi on the last day. Very modern room, recently refurbished and furnished, new carpets, great soft bedding (even though it would be fab to have a firmer mattress). Even though the staff said it will be loud during a couple of events they had - we couldn't hear a thing (one of them was a child's birthday party and another - a cricket game). Price per value is perfect too.

Breakfast options were rather limiting - bacon roll, granola and sausage roll - so ended up buying breakfast in a local food store. A bit humid in the bedroom and bathroom - plus signs of some mould on the ceiling and windows - as a result, food (fruit and alike) didn't last more than a day or two in the room.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Room was bright and cosy, well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, complimentary toiletries and bottles of water.

Room was cold when we returned at 11pm (stayed in December). Bathroom was lovely and warm, we realised the radiator wasn't turned on in the bedroom. However we didn't check this before we went out which we could have done, so also on us.

Room 1 had a lovely view with large windows to enjoy it. Spotless, comfortable, with a great sofa and plenty of storage. Great breakfast and amazing selection of gins! Located close to the heritage railway stop and a very short drive to the park&ride (which is great value for Whitby and saves time and stress on a busy weekend!) I love Whitby so will be back, and have already recommended here to family and friends.
