It was excellent to be able to get around the town.It was very good value gir money and our rooms were very clean with good quality bedding and towels .We were very surprised to find there was a night porter on duty but very glad we did as our friends didn't shut their door properly and he checked to see if they were OK .

I would have liked to be told I had to phone to get lady there to bring keys to let us in as it was a bit concerning after a long drive yo find we couldn't get in immediately. Must admit it only took 5 mins for her to come .

The room was lovely, very clean, the staff were great and easy to contact with any issues. We had a issue with the toilet on the morning of check-out, after calling to let them know the staff were very quick to come to the room. The location is perfect, literally over the road from the train station and in walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars

If I had to be picky, it was just that the bar wasn't open during our stay. But that couldn't be helped as it was due to staff illness I believe. But that wasn't a problem, we still had a great time.

The location was great, right in front of the train station, and 5 minutes walk to the castle where I was attending a market event. Check-in was smooth, I was supposed to use the pub downstairs, but it was closed due to some member of staff self isolating, so I had to call a telephone number and someone came to check-me in within a few minutes from a different venue. The room was ok, clean and functional, the free wi-fi worked well. Nice hot water in the shower, there was tea and coffee making facilities, and also as a bonus a chocolate bar and a small bottle of water. All in all it was a good experience and I would happily return.

I don't have complains, there is only a very minor thing, the bed wasn't super comfortable... but still it was ok, so as I said this was something really minor... Also this is not a complain either, just a small note: there is no lift in the hotel, so if you have heavy luggage, prepare to carry it trough the stairs...

The man that showed me in was so swift, clear and kind. And there were lots of clear instructions if we needed anything/where we can get assistance etc. And the room was spotless, clean, and so comfortable. You can tell that it is kept at a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a simple room with everything i needed and more. I really do feel like i got the best value for my money and i will be staying again when i need to!

The only bad side was the noise outside, but that can't be helped with location.

It was clean and comfortable but basic. It suited my needs.

The WiFi reception was not good but did not cause problems. My usage was minimal but other guests might not be happy.

Very helpful staff member. Very central and close to railway station. A couple of minutes to cafes for breakfast. Bed extremely comfortable, heating easily adjustable. Ample coffee supplies.

Room was a little cramped but still good value for money.

Nice, uncentional, reminded me of solo travels around USA and Australia an SD New Zealand. Like a backpacker hostel with nobs on. Beautiful rooms, discrete service. Shrrewsbury is a nice town for visitors.

The owner and the staff went out of their way for us even allowing us to check in 2 hour's early. Room was spotless and bed very comfy with snow white fresh crisp bedding.

The gap between the bed and the bathroom was very small making it a challenge to get to in the night.

The lady was very helpful and accommodating. The family room was great, tv, hairdryer, iron, tea / making facilities and much appreciated fan!

The only slight criticism I would give is that there was no one onsite, there was no reception area so any problems you have to ring someone but nothing was too much trouble when you did ring.

It was clean, Central for everywhere,good value for money. Plenty of tea coffee ect not that we was there much,but nice place to sleep.

Sadly the bar was closed so couldn't eat or have a drink there . Couldn't leave our bags behind as we planned to do due to this which was a pain ,all due to covid ,room was slightly cold although the weather was cold also .
