Cambria Hotel Napa Valley

What was not to like about this property! It was warm, inviting, and very clean. The staff were Great especially the bartender who even played a round of “5 second rule” with us. The breakfast lady was so amazing, cheerful, and respectful even with it only being her. The food was superb and presentation was phenomenal. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace along with some amazing drinks. The room was spotless, the water pressure, oh my God, the water pressure was by far the best and the shower was spacious. I slept like a baby in the plushy mattress.

No problem with the hotel itself but more with other guest who were also at the bar, while their children jumped all over the furniture, were screaming and throwing the couch pillows everywhere and they said or did absolutely nothing and it was after 10 PM

The staff was amazing, especially Maryanna. She was welcoming the minute we arrived. She got stuck on the phone for a period of time and upgraded our room free of charge because she appreciated our patience. Then we told her we were on our honeymoon and she gave us complimentary champagne. The entire experience was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

The breakfast was a bit overcharged and the selection was small. But there’s so many breakfast spots in Napa. This definitely didn’t ruin our experience!

Beautiful Hotel, nice ambiance, Self contained ( Bar & Restaurant) [No need to leave property]. Walking distance to shopping center, Safeway, Marshall's, Golden 1 credit union, and several restaurants.

*Jets in the hot tub didn't work - The jets provide the water massage that helps people to relax. Without jets it's a Swedish spa. *No bathrobes in rooms.- You have to walk past the lobby, dining room/bar to get to the hot tub. Half naked people shouldn't be walking in the bar Restaurant/area.. JMO -just my opinion * No Microwave - *Chain for blinds on wrong side of window ( You have traverse a chaise lounge and light stand to get to the chain in order to lower the shade to darken the room. * Sink in bathroom needs work. Water flow (pressure) is low and Sink doesn't drain properly

Perfect location, just a short drive to downtown eateries, shops, and local wine bars. Nice to have a bar in the lobby for a glass of wine or cocktail, a snack (they make a great charcuterie board!), or eat in the restaurant for convenience before heading out for the day. They also offer grab-and-go snacks at the front desk for purchase for lighter fare. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed and the beds are comfy. Napa is pricey and we have stayed at many places over the years, Cambria is by far the nicest place at this price point.

The pillows are too flat. I usually bring my own wherever I go so it was not an issue for me, but my husband did not sleep comfortably, we only stayed two nights this visit, so not a big deal but for a longer stay, I would say you need to ask for a better pillow with more support or bring your own.

The rooms were very quiet (at least at the end of the hallway where our room was located). This is quite unusual for american hotels in my experience, so big plus for that. The bathroom was really beautiful, nice shower. The room was quite spacey, and the staff was friendly.

The AC was a bit loud and the windows were thin so it was a bit noisy from the parking lot. As in most American hotels sadly windows can’t be opened.

Room was impecable, perfection to the small details. We are coming back for more!

Breakfast was lacking in quality and variaty, there is a lot of room to improve what would attrack more clients to stay abd enjoy the facilities instead of going out. I was charged twice for the room fee due to a glitch in the billing system, the comunication with the creditcard companies was not responding properly. Later the double payment was undone by the manager who responded imediatly, good job!

Location right outside of downtown. Walking distance to downtown and to get a meal. Hotel beautiful and clean. Staff friendly and accomodationing.

Had to wait for most if the food to be replenished. Offerings and the wait was not worth the cost of $19 breakfast. However, the hotel Manager contacted me after seeing my comments. She apologized and refunded me for the breakfast. That gesture was greatly appreciated and shows above and beyond Customer Service still exists.

Property was a great value for Napa, Clean, easy in and out, nice bar atmosphere, It was raining and chilly everyday, so it was nice to come back and sit next to the fire and have a cocktail. GM addressed a couple of items that we left behind and insured they were returned to us as well as two phone calls to me. He was extremely concerned about our experience as customers. You do not see that to often these days.

This is a newer property in Napa. People pay a lot for some idea of a fancy hotel in the wine country. The truth is that those properties are getting old. So you either book a crazily priced spa hotel kind of stay or book Cambria. You will be out most day enjoying the wineries and restaurants anyway. This property is clean, modern and very comfy. Walking distance to Napa downtown and Oxbow Public Market. There is an outdoor space to enjoy as well at the property. Recommend!!!

very nice, new property, good location, close to many dining options, including a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Easy access to DT Napa and other attractions, as well as to Hwys 80, 29, 12, 121. Only minor glitches (for me), qre there was no microwave in the room and on the service side, when I checked out the desk person could not provide me with a receipt, written or by email. She said if the reservation was through a 3rd party, she could not give me a receipt at checkout. She couldn’t tell me why?? Very strange, as I told her I often booked rooms through a 3rd party agency and have always gotten a receipt at check out if I wanted one. She said the 3rd party would provide the receipt “later”. Again, that has never been the case in the dozens of rooms I have rented from various hotels over the past several years. Don’t want to get anyone in trouble, but I think some customer service and problem solving training would go a long way toward getting to a 5 star rating. This won’t stop me from coming back to this hotel , as the overall positives far outweighed my particular pet peeves. okay, I’m done.
