The White House Inn & Spa

Breakfast was limited but very delicious. Location was great- nice neighborhood. The staff were very accommodating.

The White House in was adorable! There are only a handful of rooms so it feels very private and intimate. The rooms are good size. They offer a breakfast daily and a wine hour from 5-6. The wine hour includes a charcuterie tray. The location was great, very close to downtown Napa. The parking lot felt very safe since it was in a residential area. They also had a table set up on each floor that you could get clean towels and toiletries so you didn’t need to wait or be bothered you could just help yourself which was great! The ham, cheese, and avocado breakfast sandwiches were yummy!

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything but more like suggestions. The breakfast could use a little more variety, maybe some sweet breads, muffins or pastries. We were bummed the hot tub was out of order but these things happen. Also, maybe have access to a microwave in case someone wants to heat up left overs.

i didn’t like that the windows were covered with plastic, because of the painting of the house… i thought that maybe they should regulate it better, like close the house partially, not all of it at ones. otherwise, in my opinion, they should have close the hotel for renovation, coz it felt creepy to have windows covered in your room and doesn’t have any sunlight in it

The small boutique feel and the breakfast was really good. One day was bacon, eggs, potatoes, then breakfast burritos, and breakfast sandwiches of course healthier options weee available such oatmeal and fruit daily. Overall the aesthetics were nice. Cute quiet place. You did often hear creaking floors from people walking but that’s expected with a Victorian house. The property manager and staff were really inviting.

The hot tub was under construction but other than that nothing else.

very cute Inn in a great location for walking around Downtown Napa. Ample parking, different small breakfast options offered each day along with a wine and cheese HH in the evening.

Room did not have much storage space. A small wardrobe and that’s about it. So if you’re traveling with multiple suitcases it can get tight. Also, there is no elevator so if stairs are an issue make sure to contact the Inn to get a room on the first floor.

The house is really gorgeous, friendly staff. We loved the wine and cheese, crackers and fruits, olives and pickles at 5pm. The entire house is beautifully furnished, the backyard is lovely, and we had a relaxing time at the pool.

The pool and the hot tub really need a fresh coat of paint. We booked a room with three beds, as we are traveling with our daughter, but the room we got was at the third floor, and it was really hard to carry a heavy suitcase three flights of stairs. The room was obvious a remodeled attic, with no windows other then a small tiny attic type of window, so we were a bit sad that we didn't get the chance to stay in one of the original rooms: they are probably gorgeous.

The hotel room is super nice and clean! we got the largest room that fits 3 people comfortably. bed is toward the firm side. attic is super cute and cozy with fireplace. soundproof was great, as we were pretty loud inside but received no complaints.

the only downside is that this property does not have elevator so if you check in after hours you’ll need to carry it all the way to your room, if it’s not on the first floor.

The breakfast was very good with nice choices. The substitute innkeeper was extremely helpful and tried to solve the fragrant sheet issue for us. We appreciated her efforts. The beds were very comfortable, and the TV worked well. It was pleasant to read outside in the front garden in the morning.

The bedding and towels were washed in an extremely fragrant detergent which gave me a headache while I was there. The dormer room we had has very slanted walls, and I think this should be noted on the site that tall people will have an issue hitting their heads and trouble washing their hair with the low shower head. There was an air conditioner and fan, but we were still quite warm in the room. The pool area, one of the main reasons we booked, needs some TLC.

It was a beautiful old mansion. We were surprised to find it had a pool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We would stay again but would request a different room.

Room 9! It needs a different layout and two chairs. The headboard leaned slightly over the bed and totally blocked the nice view of the pool. the other view was a roof.

Location is convenient and the property looks as advertised. It's a beautiful Victorian style inn. The room we stayed in was spacious enough, big clean bathroom. The grounds look amazing. The living room/lounge/breakfast area are spacious and cozy. We enjoyed a glass of wine and charcuterie board. The staff is friendly and helpful.
