R Inn Napa

We loved the pantries which were stocked with snacks and light breakfast items, along with many kinds of coffee and tea. The outdoor spaces were lovely and the receptionist who greeted us upon arrival was welcoming and knowledgeable. The bedding was super soft and the location was amazing. You can easily walk into downtown Napa and even Oxbow.

Although the towels were the softest I've ever experienced, they are not at all absorbent. They were 100% cotton, so that was surprising. The room was on the small side, but the many outdoor and indoor communal spaces more than made up for that.

The rooms are super nice! I love the easy self-check in and out. The space is super cute, lots of nice outdoor seating areas, bocce court. The beds and rooms are wonderful. They have those super nice Japanese toilets, rain showers that are really well appointed, and super comfy bed. Rooms are small, but just well done and appointed. Food options aren't extensive but I like that there are some healthy options, it's clean and easy to access the dining area, the coffee is really good. It's not managed by staff, just simple and easy to access dining area where you can grab some small bites, good snacks there too like Kind bars and fresh fruit.

Not much to complain about here other than, it would have been nice to find a way to get some beers or other alcohol options. They do provide you with a free bottle or Napa Cab, because of course it's Napa, but I do not want a room temp red when it's 100 degrees outside. And yes, they are close-ish to downtown, truly it's a fairly short walk, but immediately outside the space there's not much, so if you wanted to go find a liquor store, you'd have to do about a 15-min walk round trip vs. just walk down to the lobby which is also rarely staffed.

For continental breakfast the quiche was very good, coffee machine was great. Continental options though not extensive were adequate. Run of the kitchen and open areas for seating were very nice and spread out. Very contemporary design to the entire place. Bidet toilets in both bathrooms, and a modern above ground tub was super elegant. TV that came up out of the cabinet in the loft was nice

Not much but for the amount we were paying they should have done a little more to make it special. It was my wife's birthday and they wanted to charge for champagne and chocolate strawberries. At least they wrote a happy birthday card. Also a pool or jacuzzi would have been nice too but the place just wasn't designed that way. The setting is near a medical building and while located conveniently to downtown NAPA, it lacks the amenities and feel that some other places in the valley do (pool, view of vineyards). However the location and modern design make up for those things. A little more storage in the loft for a suitcase would have been nice but I understand it's a bit tight.

Easy to find, excellent parking. Self-check-in. No keys, all access via pin pads. Quick walk to city center/boutique Napa. The Inn’s design makes a small footprint (a good thing!) feel like an acre. Many outdoor ‘rooms’ in nooks, patios. Bocce. Seating in Adirondack chairs, cushioned lounges. A solo, couple, or group are equally embraced here. 100% attention to detail. Lounge and Pantry concept is brilliant; a room should feel like a room, not a studio apartment. Natural lighting, high ceilings, amazing bed. And don’t forget the bidet.

Easy one block walk to the Uptown theater. Location is great to semi upscale shopping, restaurants & wine tasting,,, all within a 3 block walking radius! Loved the statuary that abounds around the property!

The rooms were very nice but, to me the bed was a little soft for my back. Our shower door was missing a glass door panel. Shower water was not restricted to the shower & it made a little mess on the bathroom floor. In talking with Housekeeping they reassured me that the glass door panel was on order.

Beautiful esthetic! Every little detail is perfect - and there are so many! let’s start with the beds - incredible. Perfect sheets that are extremely soft and buttery, the bed is adjustable and the comforter is the perfect weight! The location could not be better - right downtown - walked to breakfast and dinner and even to play a little late-night pool right across the street at a family-friendly billiard room where they gave my sister and I roses 🌹 The hotel’s public spaces are wonderfully configured so that you can sit and enjoy coffee (excellent specialty coffee machine made lovely cappuccino) in your own little corner of the inn. There is also a darling cantina for events or gatherings that is just right for a small group dinner or celebration. The staff were kind and helpful without being intrusive. The owner was on site and he was genuinely eager to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. I can’t wait to go back! This is a gorgeous hotel with taste and class. OH!!! And the best Toto Washlet bidet!!! 💦 LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Nothing not to like! R Inn Napa is a fantastic, cosy, immaculate stunning boutique property that has everything!!

we can’t say enough good things! We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to return in the future! The rooms are so clean and comfortable! The kitchen area is so nice with snacks out at all times. Cereal is always out as well so you can grab a quick breakfast. On the weekends they offer more options like quiche and croissants.

Sean was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 12PM and a late check out so we could attend Sunday Service. So this was a big plus. We had a wonderful experience at the R Inn. Every staff member I encountered, from Sean and his families to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The best boutique hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms (there was even a toto toilet in the bathroom) and nice plush clean towels. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and it’s next to the river and restaurants if you don’t want to venture after a long day of wine tours. The complimentary snacks and (quiche) was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

This property is a gem! Modern, clean, well maintained with excellent customer service! Check in was easy and check out was easier! The location was perfect. We could walk to downtown in minutes to shops and restaurants. The property pays attention to all the little extras for their guests. Very thoughtful! We will stay here again!

Lovely self-service breakfast spread on weekend and access to pantry during the week for light breakfast snack. Lots of breakfast options near by and within walking distance. My favorite is the self help expresso maker…
