Vino Bello Resort

The location was great. Very near Oxbow Matket and downtown Napa. I wasn’t there long but I wanted to check out their spa and I heard there was a bowling alley. The grounds were lovely and I had a nice view of the vineyards from my room.

The sales pitch from the timeshare people. It took up too much of my checkin time and I was tired after a long day of travel and just wanted to get the parking thing needed to hang in my car in order to park in their lot and get to my room. They kind of hold that as hostage so you have to listen to their sales pitch. But they did take no for an answer ultimately when we explained we would have no time in our schedule to sit down for one of their longer pitches.

I personally like the two room sweat. The exterior door can be locked and inside are to more doors. If you have kids you might not trust sneaking out 3rd floor two room sweat is nice. I do not have that problem it’s more of a safety thing for me. My child liked having their own room to feel like an adult. I like it because it gave us the privacy we wanted but we can still do family time and enjoy a little get away.

This is a private owned (timeshare) so the up keep is more like someone’s home than a five star hotel. It really was the little things like the dirty baseboards or shower seal peeling off.

Very nice. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind. I enjoyed the bottle of wine in the room; a nice surprise. The stroll through the vineyards was nice when we had a few extra minutes.

The parking. It was raining and late and we had a baby. Had to park quite a bit away and carry baby and items in rain to the door. People were parked all up and down the street. Maybe there are not enough spots as there are guests.

Breakfast was typical resort style. Staff friendly and provided great care to make sure coffee was flowing, the meal was perfect. The dinner was really good. From the bread and salad to the entrees-exceptional! Same outstanding staff too!

Upfront during booking - state resort fee. After I entered to book, total increased from $200 or so to $300. This was due to tax( minimal amount) and the resort fee. Nevertheless, the price was a deal. Recommend end of august-fall for booking at this resort, as the hot tub was used by adults. We have been here in the summer with little ones in the hot tub in diapers. The parents and staff do not tell them to get out. The pool was cool/ not heated but it was warm outside.

Being with the whole family and making memories

Housekeeping. I asked for more hangers when we arrived and they never came. Our towels were changed only once and our bed never was during our whole trip! When I asked for our room to be cleaned I was told no, only on day 4 and the lady was very rude

The resort is beautiful. we had a one bed room suite and it’s very clean and in good size. A big bathroom with his and hers sinks. well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to make two dinners during our stay. The bed is comfortable. A good price for the hotel.

The location is a bit far away from the main wineries and town area.

The room and amenities, the exercise room, eating/bar facilities The room was clean.

Dirty floor in elevator. Some on-site staff members stated they did not speak english.. Why are they working here? Miscommunication: was informed of $40.00 per person, per day breakfast -- this option did not exist at all.

The room was perfect for what we needed. The restaurant on site was delicious and easy to get into.

The grocery store/breakfast was pricey and didn’t have prices on anything which made it hard to know what you were spending. We also took the shuttle back from downtown Napa but the front desk told us the wrong location.. ended up running out of dinner to make it, waited over an hour, tried to get an Uber and had it cancelled on us multiple times then got charged. Just make sure to let people know the right location next time 🤗

It was part of a bigger resort, they upgraded us for a bigger room like a super suit. They have very nice pool and facilities, and was close relatively to the highlights places. Good value for the money.

We did not like being bombarded by the time share company immediately after checking in. We were looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend celebrating our anniversary and this immediate bombardment threw us off. They literally give you no room to walk, before hounding you like vultures. Next time we know to walk right by without looking up, but this definitely made the beginning of the stay classless. We stay here every year for our anniversary, however this made us reconsider our stay for next year.
