Court Plaza Inn & Suites of Mackinaw

desk staff were very cordial and helpful. Room was a little small but it was clean.

We arrived on a Tuesday. Both Tuesday and Wednesday it was very quiet in regards to outside noise. On Thursday it was a little nosier as more people were coming in. On Friday it was very noisy and the fireworks which we did not know was happening lasted very long. Would have like to have known about the fireworks in advance. The room itself was clean but needs updating. The location was great in regards to walking downtown to other venues.

Location was incredible for us. Everything was walking distance including the ferry to go to the island. Plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy!! Cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. It appeared a lot of renovation had been done. There is no breakfast available at this hotel, but that was not an issue since there is an excellent breakfast place near by!

We would have liked to have the amenities {refrigerator and microwave} HOWEVER, I knew these were not included when I booked the hotel. Your iron was extremely dirty and needs to be checked, but probably thrown out and replaced.

My room was clean, safe & bright. The location is excellent since it is tucked away from the main strip making it more exclusive & private. Plus, I like the fact that it is only a short walking distance to many of the shops & restaurants. The staff overall are really, really nice & helpful.

I wished my room had a microwave, a mini-fridge & a couple more electrical outlets. Most guests need all of the items especially if you have a family or on business traveling. Maybe you could add a surge protector strip so the guests can plug it in to resolve the electrical outlets problem. Everyone needs to plug in their electrical devices some where when they travel.

The man at the office was very polite, friendly, and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised by how clean this hotel was. The rooms were very clean and the pool/hot tub was as well. I slept well in the bed, and found it to be pretty comfortable. The location can't be beat for Machinaw City. It's within walking distance of downtown shops and the ferry that leads to Mackinaw Island.

I liked most everything about my stay here. I guess the only thing to change would be including some plastic silverware in the coffee tray in case travelers have food with them. A microwave or fridge would be a plus too, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Great service. Beds were comfy. Location was superb. Relatively quiet. Pool was open late. Outside patio was nice. Hot tub was great, also!

Funky smell in room. Stinky closet. No fridge or microwave. Room a bit on the small side. Would like to see the old breakfast area open back up, would be awesome to have continental breakfasts there in the morning. Pool could have been a little warmer, water was pretty cold. Lighting in the room wasn't great either.

Loved the location. We have stayed at many of the hotels in Mackinaw City and this location is prefect. About all the stores are within walking distances, you are right on Main Street. Room was nice enough and nice size. There was a frig in the room which is something we hoped for

Did not have any extra pillows in the room and the pillows were on flat/small side for a king size bed. Also could not figure out if the room was cleaned on our two day stay or if they just replenished the towels because the bed was never made up the next morning and the soap was not replenished nor was the coffee.

No breakfast was offered in so far as I understood but I did not expect one for the modest price. At this time of year great breakfasts are available at many places in Mackinaw City. We can vouch for the quality of breakfast at the Lighthouse. Rooms at this facility were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I imagine that the garbage service with a piercing back-up horn at 9 am was not appreciated by every guest. We were up and packing the car but even so it was annoying.

Just a couple of facility issues. a tape measure and small level were left in the room on top of the refrigerator. The refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived, so I had to plug it in and wait for it to become cool before I could place any items in it. The directional vanes on the air conditioner were inoperable only pointing straight up, so cool air could only be directed upward behind the blackout curtains. Therefore, the room did not cool down. Finally, the plug for the overhead lamps was not plugged in when we arrived, so I had to move the small nightstand to plug the lamps in.

The hotel is right on the main strip of Mackinaw City. Close walk to the ferries. Pool and jacuzzi was nice. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean. I would stay here again.

Room was a bit musty smelling. Walls are super thin, neighboring room had their TV on entire stay, day and night, extremely loud.

It was close to the shops, the ferry’s, and other local attractions. The staff was super friendly an accommodated my disability to have a ground floor room because of it. They had a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi that was clean and open late which was a nice way to end the day with. I’d stay here for vacation again for sure. the hotel put is in a double queen room, but only charged us for a single due to the fact we reserved a single queen but they didn’t have one on the ground floor.

the prices were a bit high, but it was worth it to be near everything
