Super 8 by Wyndham St. Ignace

Liked the location, easy to get where you needed to go and return. Staff was helpful. We extended our stay an extra three days and were able to keep our same room. Price was good. Manager was very accomodating,

Breakfast was very poor. Some bagels, perhaps a better selection of cereals would have helped a lot. Milk was tainted which made us wonder how long it had been kept, also a slice of bread for toast, no English muffins, no bagels nothing substantial .fresh(er) fruit would have also helped. Had to ask for room service to empty trash and bed was only made twice in 5 days. Also, had to ask for a bar of soap after three days. Not sure housekeeping was made aware of our extra stay days.

Our particular room was located down a separate hallway from the rest of the rooms. This isolated the room and, at least while we were staying there, made it quieter than we expected. It was next to the stairs and shared a wall with the elevator, so it could have been noisier under some conditions, but while we were there it was quieter.

I would have liked having a desk in the room. It appeared there had been a desk attached to one of the walls, but it had been removed and replaced with a comfortable chair. The chair was nice, but I could have used a desk.

This hotel is very clean. It smells clean. I hate going to a hotel that smells musty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We went on a very busy weekend. We spent three nights. On the last day, the breakfast choices were limited. They should have been prepared. Also, the cold cereal choices were all sugary-sweet kids cereal. (No adult choices) and the hot cereal only had high-sugar options (no plain flavor). The bread, bagels, muffin choices were not refilled, so if you got there late, there was very slim pickings.

Reasonably priced. Room was clean. Staff was very nice.

It would have been nice to have a little more seating in our room. We had a table w/2 chairs and a nice comfy chair w/automan, but we had 5 people. Not a big deal, but the room was listed as a suite when it actually was just a room with 3 beds. Still comfortable and fairly priced. Overall, we were happy with our stay

Clean super comfortable beds which is rare because for the majority of our stays in hotels the beds were horrible but definitely not here beds and pillows we’re definitely comfy

I know this was out of managements or front desks control but we were woken up once at night n then twice during early am with very loud slamming doors but other then that our stay was awesome

The room was very clean and the bed was fantastic to sleep- Very nice the balcony and view of the Bridge in the morning.

The room was totally over valued.. too much really!!! It is a simple room with a extra table and chair.. Nothing special.. The breakfast?? It is a fix and forget style using the toaster for everything.. Recommendation is low because of being overpriced compared.

Beautiful view of the bridge! Very clean, spacious room,comfortable beds, great breakfast, staff is awesome and very accommodating, hotel is quiet and peaceful. Very close and convenient to everything. we will definitely return.

I can’t think of anything that I disliked at all this was my second time staying at the hotel and it will definitely not be my last. I have recommended it to many friends and family and everybody has enjoyed it and had a good experience.

Overall very good experience. Clean rooms and friendly service. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the 'continental breakfast'. Only cold food items and frozen toaster waffles. Good in a pinch, but a better selection would be a bonus!

Overall, great little hotel! It was fairly clean, no bed bugs (hugely important!), and in a perfect place to get to all the fun in and around Mackinaw! Staff was friendly. Also, the water pressure was fantastic, lol! Weird to rate, I know, but so many hotels have awful water pressure.

The pool was freezing! But the kids didn't care, so we dealt with it. Also, the pillows were fluffy to the touch, but were like rocks to sleep on.
