Great Lakes Inn Mackinaw City

Our room was big and clean. Water at the shover was super hot. Very nice parking where we parked our car and bikes. Pool was just few steps away from our room. There was hot breakfast available just walking distance at another hotel. Young man at the reception was super nice; answered all our questions about Mackinaw City and ferry trip to the island. My kids left googles at the pool. I realized that when I got home. I called hotel and they mailed me these googles. That was really nice of them.

I have no complains. I was satisfied with everything. The area around hotel was big and clean.

I did not eat breakfast so I can not rate the food. I did enjoy the stay and thought that the room exceeded my expectations of the place. At first, you think it may be a dive or dump, but once in the room the beds were comfortable and the room was pretty clean. The bathroom was a little less desirable but it worked. The shower was clogged we were able to unclog it and use the shower. I Would def. Stay again.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and ready to use I.E. the shower being clogged. The room was clean but looked like you stepped back into the 70's. but can't really complain for the amount of money spent. I would def. Stay again.

I loved pretty much everything. The environment was the most comfortable of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was very accommodating and not rude at all! The location was great, even though it was in town it still felt like there was a separation of the two.

I didn’t like that the pools were dirty and the hot tub didn’t work. But such a lovely set up!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very, very nice young man who I believe was the assistant manager. We arrived an hour before our check-in time but the young man was happy to let us in early. The room is clean, the bed was super comfortable and we really lacked for nothing. Great access to I-75, easy on and easy off. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

they dont attend the rooms if u stay longer then a day u have to ask

Nice rooms. Washer & dryer available was handy due to weather. Friendly staff. Front desk provided some wiping towels to dry the rain off the motorcycles. Close to restaurants.

I don't have anything negative about this hotel.

It was easy to find and very convenient to the Highway.

Breakfast was nice but you had to walk past 3 other motels to get to the motel with the breakfast room. That was ok if the weather was fine but….

Close walk to the water and ferry.

Stated there was breakfast ( muffins toast etc)and coffee got there, and you had to go 3 hotels over between 7-9 to order breakfast..

Great location. Walking distance to the Rusted Spoke Brewery, downtown, and ferry to Mackinac island. Easy access from express way, quite, and offered breakfast (Waffles). It also had an indoor pool.

Pillows were super flat and required two or three to be comfortable. Our bed was also really stiff. Other than that everything about that place was nice.

Front desk accommodating, polite and more than helpful. My room was super clean, quiet even with highway not far away. Just right simple breakfast and on my way.
