Parkside Inn Bridgeview

We upgraded to a private balcony room. It was so worth it for us. The room was larger and had a frig. We could put some beverages in there and have them cold and the delicious fudge. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was so nice. They helped us make our stay fit our budget and give us the privacy we wanted. Thank you Inn keepers and your friendly staff.

We enjoyed the Bridge view and State park view and the water was amazing turquoise color, so clear and beautiful. People would sit all day with their families and dogs together enjoying each other and nature. So peaceful and wholesome looking. Felt safe. The only thing we had to get use to the bridge noise of vehicles crossing over. I turned on my phone to soft harp music and we fell asleep after a while. Would go back again. What a beautiful fun area. People were so friendly. The Mac Island was great too!

The gentleman who checked us could not have been nicer. Offered suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We arrived before check-in time, but he allowed us access to the room as soon as it was ready. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The price was equivalent to what others like it were charging, although something else a bit further away may have been more economical. The small, independent (perhaps cheaper) places are more difficult to find by Internet search, from what I could tell. So this turned out to be a very nice hotel, and I would book here again.

It was very close to the park, giving you a great view of the bridge and a nice place to walk/run. The hotel was also clean. the staff was helpful in getting us a handicap-accessible room.

Since it's so close to the bridge you can hear much traffic. The room didn't have a fridge or microwave but it did state that in the overview. Also, the pool was down for maintenance during our stay which was a little bummer.

EXTREMELY clean. Everything in the city is a little dated, so nothing too fancy, but my room was spotless and comfortable. WiFi was GREAT (I could take calls and zoom calls without issue), and I could even watch fireworks from my balcony (they were off in the distance). Location is phenomenal and only a 15min walk along the water to the downtown area.

I had to leave another hotel in the city and Parkside had a room available, I wasn't expecting much. This little hotel blew me away. What a lovely experience. It was so clean and obviously very well cared for. I have been coming to Mackinaw City for over 20 years and I have never once stayed in such a wonderful hotel. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and value for the money. Everything worked as expected. The location was away from the other hotels. It had a wonderful view of the lake and there is an excellent restaurant within walking distance that was never crowded. The indoor pool was heated and quite clean. The staff at the hotel was top notch. Super friendly and easy to understand. The property was very well cared for and not your ordinary Mackinaw City hotel. Don't hesitate to book this place, you won't be sorry!

There was no microwave or refrigerator in the smallest room available. The ice machine was across the parking lot with a well stocked soda machine. Audie's restaurant was within walking distance.

I liked the location of the property with a bridge/lake view room. I also liked that they had a pool and some games for the kids. I liked the private entry as well.

I very much disliked the beds. They were so incredibly old that the springs were literally jutting out into my back and hips. All of my family members were incredibly sore everyday from the flat hard mattresses. I also didn’t like the fact that I found someone’s used dirty nose ring in my room. It just means nobody vacuums regularly.

the location was in perfect distance to downtown , and ferry . only 10 min walking distance from everything . 1 min walk to the bridge . and 3 min drive from the casino .

pool was full with kids jumping everywhere and we couldn’t take advantage of it and we had some really noisy neighbors that made our nights very long stumping on floors and banging on walls .

The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were very nice. It's an older hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable. The view of the bridge from our room was great. They allowed us to park in their lot before check-in, so we did not have to pay to park in the ferry parking lot. I would easily stay here again. It was a ten-minute walk to the ferry and downtown.

The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful on info for the area. Perfect location. We could walk to where we wanted to go.

The room smelled musty, but it was clean. It was a corner room hidden. There wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room. I think if you upgraded to a balcony room, you had those items.

We had a nice view of the bridge from our 3rd floor room. This was our third stay, and every time the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have been spotless all 3 times we’ve stayed.

Better lighting in the rooms would be nice. The lighting isn’t the best for putting make up on for the day. We got the standard queen room this time, and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but not unbearable.
