Budget Host Inn & Suites

Our room was perfect! The large, comfortable beds & spacious rooms and bathroom exceeded our expectations. We loved having the Living room area with dinning table, couch & chairs in our room!!! Very spacious! The hotel was nice and quiet; we loved it! Having the fridge, microwave and coffee machine in our room was a plus! Our hotel was within walking distance of the docks to board the Ferry boats. The elevator was a real plus! The front desk staff was very helpful & professional. We will definitely return next year!

Great location right across the street from the docking area for the Ferry boats. Hotel stay was great, a nice quiet place! The elevator was a Big help since we had one elderly person in our group. The rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed having the fridge in our room. We will definitely stay here again next visit!!

Continental Breakfast probably could've used some meat like bacon or sausage. But breakfast was still very nice and simple; it was great that the hotel provided breakfast, no complaints.

The hotel is very conveniently located near lots of restaurants and ferry docks. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy and the pool was simple but plenty for kids to enjoy.

Parking could be more plentiful but we did find a place. The entry doors are fickle and it could be difficult to access at times. Breakfast room was very small for the amount of guests using it and the bread case did not have tongs so people were using their fingers.

Breakfast was superb, lots of choices. Room was big and comfortable. Nice touch in providing carts for transporting luggage from cars to rooms. The receptionist was very informative and thorough.

The room became a bit warmer during the night. Wished the AC would be stable all night. Need electric outlet on each bedside (only have usb outlet). Need to plaster floor plan on doors to help navigating when first enter the building.

Excellent location for our family to be able to go to the island. Front desk was kind enough to switch our room so we could have a balcony. Everything was spotless! I would suggest everyone make a waffle for breakfast 😋 yum! Overall, we will be back!

The bed in or room was a pull down Murphy bed.....it was very uncomfortable. But everything else was wonderful!

It was well kept for the winter time and the snow was plowed! Because it was off season we had front row parking right outside our door. The breakfast room was small, but cozy and gf a full breakfast. It could have had fruit available, but with it being winter, in the U.P., it could be an issue.

No complaints.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the ferry dock, we could see the fireworks over the bay, and it had a pool. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony too. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the small arcade and the pool the most :)

It seemed a little overpriced but we did stay there on the weekend so it was fine.

Over all the stay was great. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The shower head is short. I’m 5’11” and had to stoop pretty low to use it wasn’t a big deal just something to note. Also the pools water was cloudy and I’m guessing 6-8 inches shallower than it could have been. Again that not a big deal my kids and I still had fun using it.

Very nice hotel. Some rooms with balcony's. Nice pool and hot tub. Walking distance to places to eat. Good neighborhood. 2 room 2 queen suite was great for our family of 5. And great price for the location. Good typical hotel breakfast, with waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. Would defiantly stay here again if in the area.

I really liked the two rooms and the spaciousness of the rooms. We had room to spread out and plan the next day. Location by the docks for the ferry to Mackinac Island was a plus. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean.

I thought the breakfast could be better. Would have liked warm eggs and bacon.
