Courtyard New York Manhattan/Upper East Side

The room was very clean, bigger than expected, with some view from the window. the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was of a good size, no problems there. They let us do an early check in.

No breakfast; just a coffee maker in the room. They provided coffee pods but nothing to eat. The lights in the bathroom dimmed every once in a while. The windows didn't close tight...there was a little space where the street noise "leaked" into the room

I was visiting someone and needed that location. There were lots of small, ethnic groceries and delis and restaurants nearby. Near to Gracie Mansion and Carl Schurz Park that were along the East River. Great views, people walking on paths, kids. Two blocks from the Q subway line.

TV was hard to use. Had to involve my phone. Reception finally made it work. Also, shower curtain rod in shower was a strange shape and left water on the floor.

Good coffee for free in the reception area. The ferry to pier11 (Wall Street) is just down the road, and a very cheap way of seing NY skyline

Lack of selection of breakfast products, at an earlier visit there was a wide selection of buns/muffins youcould eat for breakfast. Also at that visit there was free bottled water during the day. None this time

The location was convenient for the reason we stayed at this facility.

It would of been nice to have some sort of continental breakfast for the guest or some sort of snacks besides coffee & tea. Stayed at a Marriott a few yrs ago in NY that had a great continental breakfast & bottles of water were given to the guests.

Nearby to people we were visiting so very convenient location. It was easy to get a taxi with their system. Short walk to Central Park and numerous restaurants.

Coffee in room was poor, coffee in lobby was also pretty bad. At $369/night plus tax, decent coffee would not be too much to ask.

One staff person on the evening shift when we checked in went above and beyond to help us when my husband had problems with parking kiosk. She is a great asset to your company!

When went to check out the next day, the parking garage wanted the desk to call them when checked out to verify that fact. This morning employee wouldn't call the parking garage. The manager finally had to do it. I even explained to her that the garage told my husband to have them call. She did not display good customer service at all.

I've stayed at this hotel before and the staff impressed me. They are friendly and professional, and extremely helpful. The location is perfect for me, because I visit my son only 10 blocks away. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I was on the 10th floor, and facing the back of the hotel, so it was a quiet room.

It's not a case of what I didn't like, but more a case of the few things that come with time and age. Starting to show a little age, but still very clean. Everything else was very nice, and I will continue to book this hotel whenever I'm in NYC.

The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Lots of towels. The staff were lovely. The gym was well equipped.

Just one issue with booking a taxi to the airport on leaving. We had a problem with the 'order taxi' machine and the reception staff won't book for you.

The attached rooms were essential because we went as a family. The view was awesome. Being walking distance to the MET and Central Park were the main reasons we stayed here. Also, driving time was minimized, being right off the FDR, and parking two blocks away at Astor Place was reasonably priced, w/ friendly staff. it gave us a different perspective, as we normally stay on the Upper East Side. Walking around this area with he stroller was awesome. 10/10 would consider another stay next time we are down there.

I pinched my finger between the door and the cabinet where the fridge is. The layout of the room means there is zero space between the door and the cabinet, so it creates a sort of scissor-like effect. It's not safe and I'm sure I am not the first one to do this. I feel lucky that my finger didn't break. So be SUPER careful about that. I'm just glad it didn't happen to one of the kids. Aside from that, the stay was excellent.

First I have to commend the housekeepers and staff other than the front desk. I’m particular the staff that tidied up my room were wonderful, so. I’ve mad my room was sparkling clean and well stocked always. The room was surprisingly comfortable and a good size and plenty of place to put clothes away which is great when you are staying for more than a few days

The front desk staff was variably good, a couple were very polite and helpful, and a few, 2 in particular were just rude and unpleasant and honestly should seek elsewhere for employment as their people skills are horrible. I stayed at the hotel for over a week so had plenty of time to experience the good and the bad.
