The refurbished rooms were beautiful but had mild plumbing problems and noise from heating systems. In fairness I did not have time to report the issues at the front desk. They would have responded immediately

The hotel is in a fabulous location and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the turn down service thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again.
The decor is a little dated. The hotel is also quite expensive but that rather goes with the Upper East side territory!

The professionalism, friendliness and overall service orientedness of the staff was extremely outstanding. I travel all around the world and it was exceptional. Of particular note were: Eric Dupaix, Anthony and Emilie. They, and the rest of the staff, helped make my stay truly extraordinary. I have stayed at the St. Regis for over 13 years at least 1x a month and I am seriously considering switching!!
No room service but I know that is COVID related. Hallways are a bit tight.
