Iroquois New York Times Square

Superb location, close to all major tourist attractions. Multiple subway locations close by. Central park was within a walkable distance. All staff were friendly starting from the doorman through reception and everyone you met. Rooms were a decent size for the middle of the city & a little larger than I expected.

The breakfast was ok at best. When paying for a good hotel I would expect to have more choice as well as not being limited to taking one of the four options. It was either a semi warm bacon or egg bap, granola and yoghurt or pastries every single day and it was a little tiresome by the end of the week and witnessed staff not giving somebody some pastries as they already had a breakfast bap :(

The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rum was lovely, very classy.

The staff member dishing out the meagre breakfast was sullen and uncommunicative and would but engage with the guests. All the guests mentioned his attitude. Each guest was only allowed one item for free; either one yoghurt or one bag of 3 very tiny pastries, one orange juice etc. If you wanted more than one you had to pay $5 for each! On my last day, as I had to leave for the airport at 6:50 and breakfast started at 7:00 he refused to serve me. Power crazy jobsworth. If it wasn’t fit him I would rate the hotel 10/10. The rules about using the fridge were ridiculous: if you put something of your own inside it you would be fined $25! Allegedly there were weights inside which recorded movement. Absolute Sheet Madness!

All the employees were helpful. I liked that the decent breakfast was included!

I needed a refrigerator to keep my medicine cool. I asked the front desk if I could move some items out of the refrig without a charge. Someone forgot to tell me that I could have asked for a refrigerator for my room. I am sure that would have been a cost for this. I would prefer a refrigerator to cool our waters, etc. available in the room!

One of the worst breakfast I have ever tried. "Food" is served in boxes: the only 3 options are "3 very small pastries" OR "Greek yogurt very thick" OR "a sandwich of ham a cheese. The 3 options with very poor quality. Announcing that they serve "breakfast" is close to be a scam...

fantastic location! easy access for everything, subway, Times Square, bars and restaurants! really handy breakfast to go with unlimited hot drinks in the morning. perfect just before a day of sightseeing! 24 hour reception staff polite and helpful! Bed and pillows so comfortable! lots of towels and toiletries! free WiFi

nothing this hotel was fantastic but if pushed the prices in the bar were expensive, however, it’s a city centre bar!

the room was quite small and didn’t have much storage for clothes (no chest of drawers) so I found I had to pile clothes on the bedside table.

This is a charming, well maintained hotel. We enjoyed our stay, and per my request they gave us a very quiet room, and as I had mentioned a special birthday they left a small gift in our room. The staff was wonderful!

I would have enjoyed a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. Also, suggesting a folding chair stored in the closet to make more comfortable seating for two people

I so enjoyed my stay at the Iroquois. It is such a lovely boutique hotel. I just needed a change from the large hotels. It was centrally located, being in Times Square. I was able to walk there from Penn Station. MOMMA was in walking distance, as was the famous Junior’s Bakery( think the world’s best cheesecake)and the theater district. It is close to shopping on 5th Ave The room( I had a double) was lovely and very clean. I will definitely make this my New York hotel to stay at. The staff is the best!

Staff were phenomenal.. room was about the size expected which is small but that’s okay since we were only there to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good each morning nice yoghurt / granola, bacon and egg rolls and small pastries.

US hotels don’t seem to provide kettles, tea, milk and small biscuits like they do at home which is only a small thing but makes a big difference

Great small boutique hotel at an excellent location. Close to Bryant Park, Times Square and Fifth Avenue. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was disappointing, both in terms of variety and presentation. There is hardly any closet space to store clothes.
