Club Quarters Hotel Times Square, New York

Central location if you want to be within walking distance of Times Square and many other central attractions. So many choices of food nearby, and Bryant Park only 5 minutes away - a real Oasis of calm in the city that never sleeps.

Asked for an invoice on checking out but was just told I would be emailed (which I never was). Hadn't charged anything to the room or taken any toiletries yet a spurious second charge was made to my credit card and I had no way of knowing what it was for until I messaged the property via the Booking.com app. The did get back to me after a few days but simply said it was for the shampoo / conditioner. Booking.com customer services got the charge refunded but it just adds stress to an otherwise relaxing city stay. The hotel should not be able to charge you for stuff that you simply haven't used.

I was working while my family enjoyed the sites of NYC. Club Quarters' shared lounge with its excellent coffee machine served well for my early morning work sessions. Despite the central location and proximity to time square, the rooms were quiet and peaceful, allowing for rest after busy days.

We stayed in a suite with two rooms to accommodate adults and children, which were both decently sized for a NYC hotel. Unfortunately, the door had been removed between the two rooms, which compromised the point of choosing a hotel with 2 rooms. The water boiler for the hotel broke down during our stay, while CQ mobilized pretty quickly to fix this (1.5 days without hot water), there were no status updates from the hotel on the situation, which left us a bit frustrated.

We stayed for one night only so we were really looking for location. Great location- 5' walk to Rockefeller Center and Times Square, 30' walk to Central Park, near a few good restaurants. Bigger than expected room. Very helpful and joyful staff. They checked us in earlier which was very nice given we had quite some luggage.

There was no breakfast offered but this is not a problem for us - we had a very hearty meal in a nearby dîner. Just noting it for people for whom this might be an issue.

Location is perfect if you want to explore central Manhattan, also metro stations are quite close. Free (and good!) coffee in the lobby 24/7. In general - good value for money given the crazy prices in NYC.

The room is quite small, but I guess you can't expect much more for a reasonable price in New York. The inner yard is a bit noisy (I think because of ventilation systems). At check-in we were first given a room, which was already occupied :)) Finally we were charged twice by mistake (first by Booking.com while making reservation, and then by the hotel), however this was relatively easily solved through emails and I received the refund (and the staff was friendly)

Location was fantastic. There was a place called Cafe Manhattan right across from the hotel which had a great breakfast selection to enjoy. The rooms wede clean, and when we asked for extra towels via room service it was extremely quick. Check in and check out was efficient. Impressed with 12pm check out as I know of many places that require check out earlier than that. Thanks to this we got to spend ample time in the morning at Bryant Park before coming back to hotel to check out.

The only negative thing was the sound. The rooms are not sound proof and there seemed to be issue with water pipes or something. We could VERY WELL hear the sounds of water flushing and toilet water filling up etc from the other rooms. Make sure to bring a set of earplugs if you don't want to wake up to disturbing sounds at night.

We had a really lovely stay at Club Quaters celebrating our birthdays. Location is 5 mins walk from time square. The room was lovely and spacious. Free teas/ coffee/ in rooms and communal bar. Also great water stations throughout hotel. Everyone on reception was really lovely and super helpful. Special thanks to Ojay, Joanne, Nichole and Justine who helped us throughout our stay. All very smiley, helpful and funny. Happy to help with anything especially travelling advice! We would definitely recommend this hotel and it’s brilliant staff😊

I liked that the location of the hotel, it was close and conviniet to all the sights I wanted to see. The staff were very helpful especially when I was getting ready to check out.

The bed was not comfortable.

This was my family’s first trip to the city. I could not have picked a better place to stay. Conveniently located and a great value. The staff were incredible. Joanne, Tia, and Nicole were super friendly, professional, and helpful. They engaged with our family like we were old friends and I loved that. Every day, they would offer us tips on things to see, places to eat, and how to navigate the city. They provided crayons and coloring papers for my kiddos from the Easter bunny. And, to top it off, when we left our blankets in our room (realized it on our train ride home), we contacted the hotel and they shipped them to us. Amazing!

It was our second time at Club Quarters Midtown New York. Like wise, was a perfect stay! Highlight to location, between 6th and 5th Ave in front of some restaurants and the most polite staff! The bedroom size it’s small, but enough for a couple during 4-7 days. Practical, how should be in NYC. Excellent quality of bed and bath linen. Ar conditioning, heater and shower working normally. Differential of lobby that provide different types of coffe and tea (besides water and sparkling water). Definitely, the best cost benefit hotel of Manhattan and will be our place when we visit NYC again! Thanks everyone!

Maybe provide breakfast

The location was perfect for broadway shows, top view bus, and all other sightseeing purposes. On each floor, we can fill water into our bottles, and even bottles are provided.That was so convenient especially when it was raining cats and dogs outside. There was a kurig machine in my room. I loved it! Even after checkout, I was offered some coffee at the lobby while I was waiting for my luggage. The staff members were nice and informative.

The room floor was not completely clean. I found a ball point pen and a shampoo amenity. But that was OK level for me.
