Proximity to Time Square

Room was small, sink was always clogging.

Service was prompt, apologetic, and helpful when we called the front desk regarding our leaking toilet. All hotel workers were cordial throughout our stay and I appreciated that we were allowed to keep our baggage stored securely after checking out as we were roaming the city for a few more hours before our flight,

The shower drain unfortunately did not drain the water fast enough and we often stood in 3 inch water for most of our shower time. The water pressure was also too strong and left my skin red. Lastly, our toilet began to leak on the last day as we were packing up and there was water all over the floor. I also wished there was a microwave included in our room.

No breakfast. Location was great.

The rooms could be a bit bigger. The restaurant could be open.

Great location in the centre of Manhattan, near Broadway and Time Square. Very clean, with friendly staff. Bedroom was nice, very clean and the bathroom was very good with a powerful shower and shampoo etc provided.

We had booked a very nice family room, but this was apparently given away, not a problem really, as we were given two reasonable adjoining rooms instead. The TV in our room wasn't working, though we didn't ask anyone to see to it as we were tired, so might have been easily sorted. Breakfast was basic with pre-packaged muffins, orange juice, water, tea and coffee, but it was sufficient for us.

the location was great and the room was clean and spacious.

the continental breakfast was horrible the coffee machine didn’t work properly and some of the items they offer were expired for example prepackaged bagels and pastries, yogurts. the staff was nice when checking in but when choking out the male staff was rude and unpleasant with us. on the contrary when a white couple came in to check in, his whole attitude change, favoritism still exists now a days. they way they were treated when checking in, was way better than how they treated us. Jose the bell boy was helpful and pleasant.

From the minute I pulled up the doorman greeted me at the street answered all the questions I needed to know about the parking situation took the young lady's bags in while I got some food complete gentleman from top to bottom at the front desk I wish I remembered his name but he was one of the most agreeable polite Charming desk clerks I've ever encountered even took the liberty of upgrading my room to a balcony room on the top floor and no additional charge could not be happier with everything at that place top to bottom

I can tell you I found absolutely nothing to be unsatisfactory or even insufficient but when you start off with an upgrade to the top floor with a free balcony it makes it easy to have a good time from that point forward again I wish there was something I could give even constructively but they did everything right

The location and price were great.

Repainting the room would make it look newer. The room may have been used by a smoker, so it took a little time to get passed the scent. I would recommend offering complementary water. A small gesture like that can mean a lot.

The room is very spacious compared to rooms in NYC. Beds and pillows are comfortable, including the single bed by the window. Location is great, very close to everything in midtown, but the street is not crowded. The hotel does serve a basic continental breakfast, which was good (not mentioned on booking website), and coffee/tea is available until 3 pm.

a/c vent was dusty inside, and the shutter for the window did not shut well. A coffee machine or water kettle for tea/coffee in the room can improve the stay.

Perfect location, literally down the street from Times Square and less than 10 minutes from the Rockefeller Center. Subway is around the corner to reach downtown and Brooklyn, too. Beds were comfortable, the room was thoroughly cleaned every day and the bathroom was very spacious.

We were a group of 5 people, so the room didn't have a lot of space to move around or just store our belongings, but considering we were only ever in the room to sleep we made it work.

Our family had a great stay at City Club! The Front Desk people, I think we encountered three different people, were all very welcoming, professional and friendly. Our room was clean (beds, wall sofa, bathroom). The showerhead and water pressure were amazing enough that my kids even commented! A parking garage was right across the street, which was super convenient, as we walk the entire time we are in NYC! Great location! I think we will stay here again!

The only thing we wish had been better was the view from our room. Our room had three windows, two of which had a cement wall as the view. The third window, which was in the bathroom, had the view of an alley and then the street--not too bad, but it was in the bathroom. Great stay, though!
