The room was pristinely clean, nice and quiet, with a quiet AC as well. Bed was extremely comfortable. The shower products provided were very nice. Location was AWESOME!
Room was SMALL for two people, and definitely needed another drawer or two!! I don't want to live out of a suitcase, and need to put stuff somewhere! Shower leaked water onto floor. Staff could definitely have been friendlier; several were pretty blah and not willing to engage; seemed annoyed by questions. The exception was Mira (or was it Mila?), who was warm and knowledgable. Our friends had a terrible experience at the restaurant for breakfast, so we didn't go. I bumped into the sales manager on the elevator and had an opportunity to tell her about this.

The staff was excellent considering they were overbooked by third party booking agencies and even Hilton booking. Many people, like us, had had flights cancelled and were trying to find a room. We booked this room through booking.com, walked blocks with our luggage thinking we had a room and there were actually none available. The staff remained calm and friendly with the crowd of disappointed people as we weren’t the only ones. The staff allowed us to use their mezzanine lobby to rest and figure out what to do. It was a very pleasant experience considering it was midnight and we were frustrated and tired.

It was decently clean but for a clean freak like myself I would have preferred for it to be a little cleaner, but its new york so im not complaining. I also booked a city view room and was placed on the 18th floor. The view was of another building so not exactly a city view.

Staff. I called the front desk to ask for a toothbrush. He told me to come down and get it from the concierge because he was busy. When I went down, he was playing games on his phone. Also, I chose the room with breakfast when booking but that meant $18 credit but this was not explained clearly to me during check-in and the waitress was not aware of the policy either. It's Hilton! Hilton outside of the US provides first class services. However, Hilton in NYC did not.
