Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville

The hotel was very cleaned and smelled just as clean and it looked. Check in was super fast and easy. Having breakfast in the morning made getting on with my day so much more convenient than having to find a place to have breakfast. The room had more than enough towels washcloths and toiletries to use though I bring my own toiletries.

The beds were a little to firm for my taste but that's only my personal opinion. Some may like and need that but it was a little uncomfortable for the side sleeper that I am.

Breakfast was a very good variety so we could have something different per day. Thank you! Staff was very understanding and accomadating which I found to be quite reassuring.

As this is a pet friendly facility, perhaps have guests who don't want to be near dogs a bit further away? Ask guests at check-in, as we do accept pets here, would you like to be further away from them?

The staff were very professional and caring and when I fell, they were right there offering help. At the time I did not want an ambulance but the closer I got to home, a 16 hour drive, my grandson had to drive. When I got home I went to our urgent care to have my arm/shoulder/knee and hip checked. Fortunatly no breaks will find out more when I follow up with my family doctor this coming Monday. Was given pain medicine and muscle relaxers as I can not move my arm much and I’m in excruciating pain.

I felt safe being there with my kids. The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing!! Huge shopping center literally walking distance along with several restaurants nearby. Goldmine spot!! Definitely would book there again!!

The pillows. Beyond flat. Clean and fresh but too soft and flat.

Property and room was clean. Breakfast options were good and breakfast staff very attentive. Beds comfortable.

When initially arrived front desk staff not very welcoming. Barely looked up and acknowledged us short of just asking for credit card and I.D. while checking us in. Maybe she just having an off day but it definitely sets tone for rest of stay.

The staff was helpful -- recycling was available and the hotel is pet friendly. Location is excellent (walking distance to restaurants and stores).

The continental breakfast was pretty minimal -- some hot food but not a lot of variety and pretty bland. Still, it wasn't worse than advertised.

The room was set up well, with a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee nook upon entry, out of sight from the rest of the room, then a living room with a sofa bed, chairs, and lamps, a long desk/conference table in the center of the room, and a comfy king-size bed. The closet and vanity area were in a side nook, then the bathroom. It was small, but adequate with plenty of towels and washcloths. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nicely boxed up with a bagel, cream cheese, yogurt, a boiled egg, orange juice, and a banana.

I only had issue with the price and felt it was too high. It would have been nice to have had a wheeled trolley to use to carry our bags to the room. I didn't see one anywhere.

We can always count on Hampton for Clean and convenient . Breakfast is always nice . The women who work the breakfast were so nice and helpful. They went out of their way to ask if you needed anything. They made the guest a priority. We think her name was Regina but she worked 05/28/2021. She was the lady shorter of the two and was so sweet. She was so helpful and kind. Said she loves the job and was so nice ! What a great addition to this hotel and the Hampton chain. Please reward her for being a great example of hospitality.

We’ve been here before and now Price seems high for location. Veterans discount is pretty much non existent. Price listed on bookings cheaper than Hampton website . Not sure why a govt worker would get better discount than a disabled veteran. Toilet wasn’t working properly thankfully wasn’t a huge issue.

Breakfast atmosphere was very nice, albeit the tv was showing sex scenes from a TV Show but we moved the kids to a different so they could not see it. The staff was amazing, it was clean, new, and very well structured.

It could use more parking but Im sure thats out of your hands.

Great Staff, clean and wonderful comfy bed!

I stayed on 3rd floor so I did hear jumping. I think ppl were letting their kids jump around. But not really hotel's fault! Other then that, wonderful place to stay! BTW loved the warm chocolate chip cookies 🍪
