Home2 Suites by Hilton Jacksonville, NC

I stayed on the 3rd floor in a king 1br suite. My 2nd to last night someone moved in above me (4th flr) with kids I am assuming as for the next 24 hours it was constant running and jumping, stomping etc... These floors have zero tolerance in regard to people above you you can hear every step! I even cut my stay one day short. Also the outside parking lot had groups of people in trucks and cars blasting the stereo around 1030-11pm. It ended eventually but I was trying to sleep so this and that combined I might not stay here again.

Person who checked me in was exceptionally nice. Very welcoming and helped with an early check-in. Everything was clean and the place smelled really nice, especially upon entering the main doors

As most would prefer, I wish it was a little cheaper. A little weird the refrigerator door opens to the left and is right to the entry door. Would seem more normal and easier to access if it opened to the right towards the entry door. Not a big deal, just didn't feel right.

Breakfast was exactly what my kids needed, the selection of options was really nice. The staff were super helpful and made sure everyday we had what we needed. The location is perfect with all the stores and restaurants just walking distance to the hotel. Hands down one of my favorite hotels to stay at would definitely stay at again.

Things the hotel could work on? Possibly more lighting outside at night time. I was concerned for my wife going down to the car by herself. The heated pool was almost too hot for the pool room but the water was perfect. It felt like I was standing in a volcano but that's not my preference other people may really enjoy that.

The staff are amazing, you can bring DOGS!!! Breakfast was about as good as a free breakfast could be, no complaints. The rooms are spacious and have kitchens.

There is really nothing to do near this hotel; beaches are 45 minutes away! & the beds could be more comfy but over all excellent value and would stay again!

The breakfast was included in the price for everyone! And the place was clean.

That we arrived at 3 am for the same day and they charged me 200.00 more to check in for the same day as my reservations. We were driving over night to visiting my wife’s family it’s a 12 hr car ride. Shame on them for the charge. We were so tired so I paid it rather than sleeping in the car. I spent over 880 at the property. They said check in is at 3 pm not 3 am that morning. When I made reservations they said they would work with me lol guess not!

The pool was awesome great size and it was heated so it wasn't freezing water. The weight room was awesome size and plenty of items to work with. The lobby was awesome for breakfast and plenty to choose from.

The only thing my kids complained about was the elevator noises.

Hospitality from the staff. The cleanliness of the rooms.

Nothing to dislike just improvements. Different types of breakfast food instead of same thing every day and clean showers a smidge more and more seating in pool area.

I love how my teenagers could go down every morning and pick out their breakfast. I appreciated the size of the refrigerator and that there was a dishwasher in the room. The space to store and snacks we had was awesome, as well as the space to store our clothes/belongings. The room was set up perfectly for myself and my children. As a tip: we brought a few of our own trash bags to cut down on the need to constantly get some from housekeeping. It was such a great idea for us.

We were bummed out the pool was closed. There wasn’t much else to do on site.

it literally was a home away from home we shared the sweet which was very large and comfy i liked the way the master bed and bath was separated the main sitting area. i loved the sofa bed which was very convenient for company or children, very accommodable.

check in and check out times i think if you check in after a certain time in the morning you should be allowed a late check out time to accommodate for sleep other than that the facility was great

We have stayed at this Home2 Suites by Hilton in Jacksonville, NC multiple times in the past. We love the location to restaurants and stores as well as how close it is to Camp LeJeune.

Nothing.
