Tru By Hilton Franklin Cool Springs Nashville, Tn

It was so conveniently located off of the interstate, but quiet area, with a hospital just a few blocks away. I always like to know the area of the hospital on vacations just in case they are needed! It was the cutest lobby, complete with pod swings, a pool table, and several board games for the kids. Breakfast was delicious. We have a 1 year old and never before have I had a hotel accommodate our room with a pack-n-play or crib. Tru was prepared! Beds were super comfy, rooms clean! This was our first time staying at a Tru by Hilton, but will definitely be looking for them at future destinations.

The hotel appears to be relatively new and the lobby is bright and modern. They have nooks for you to use that would give you privacy while on a computer and the Front Desk staff were incredibly warm & welcoming. When I had questions they were answered with a smile and my request for an extra blanket was fulfilled immediately. The staff are wonderful and I'd stay here again mainly because of them.

Directions to the ice machines, ice buckets and cups would have been helpful since they aren't available on every floor. However, the Front Desk clerk gave me very clear directions to their whereabouts when asked.

We stayed here for a friends wedding and was impressed with the cleanliness and friendly service we received. First thing people said at the reception when we told them where we were staying was "they have no coffee in the room" I enjoy coffee first thing in the morning and I'll tell you the coffee that is always downstairs is a LOT better than the coffee others put in the room. They had games and a pool table in the lobby, a small snack store with beer, and VERY friendly staff. Hot water was almost instant when you turn it on.

I couldn't get used to the soap dispenser, you had to squeeze the bottle, seems like there should have been a button/plunger

The lobby was perfect for a large family gathering the evening before my brother's funeral. Both Danielle and Leila worked to make it a great environment for us and couldn't possibly have been more helpful. Refill spout for water jugs was nice to have. Free coffee in the lobby was very good.

No drawers in the room. Snacks were generally unhealthy and overpriced.

This basically is not a location for over 65 facilities especially ones with handicapp. The rooms are set up like a dorm room no dressers No microwave no in room coffee maker Although we had a disability room with a roll in shower the shower did not have the drain positioned properly to take the water with the hand held nozzle our bed had no blanket but a quilted bed ruffle skirt we had to change rooms because the original was just hearing impaired not disable the toilet in the hearing impared was not ADA size everyone was accommodation but we would not stay there again

Work in the industry. Had read about the TRU concept in Hospitality Magazine and wanted to try it. TRU's concept is my preferred travel preferences. Observed that the concept delivered a wide ranging customer demographic-beyond its target. Liked the open closet concept, bulk dispensors for shampoo/soap, and lobby set up. 2nd shift desk associate and ops mgr were great to talk shop and Franklin attactions with.

Needed oat meal rather than grits. It is actual breakfast food rather than a side dish. Other than that it was a good breakfast. one more thing yellow bananas would be nice. Green bananas are good for next week and the way over ripe are great for people who no longer have any teeth.

Bigger rooms to feel less cramped but also understand the concept. Descent size and configuration compared to European standards but then we are in Nashville not in Europe

Location right off I - 65 was great - easy access to Downtown Nashville (about 16 - 20 min) - and equally easy access to the beautiful historic town of Franklin, TN. Franklin is growing by leaps and bounds and this Hotel is in a great spot . Modern rooms and Stall Showers make for a very good adult stay.

Breakfast was good all three mornings. I enjoyed the fruit and granola option as well as the eggs.

The king size bed seemed smaller than the one we have at home. It would have been nice to have more than one chair in the room but we understand that the size of the room may have prohibited that. The toilet seat was a little too low for my tall husband but otherwise the bathroom was good--shower large and water hot.

The room was clean. All staff we had contact with were nice, professional and helpful. Bed was comfy. I likes the lotion, soap and shampoos available. They smelled amazing and I liked that you weren't limited to a tiny bottle.

We ended up getting a handicap accessible room ( which we didn't need) this made the shower different than what was pictured on the website. It seemed smaller due to the shower stool. Water ended up all over the floor because there was no lip to hold the water in the shower. I could see how the setup would be helpful for someone who needs it, but since we didn't need them they seemed to be more of an inconvenience.
