Flinders Motel

Flinders Motel was great to stay in for the weekend. The receptionist/owners were lovely and made sure we settled in nicely. They were kind to ask us in the morning if we needed more towels, cups, etc.. It was easy to check in and out and the staff were friendly.

Nothing I could pin point to say we didnt like. It's what you'd expect a motel to provide. Maybe the only thing is that there is no microwave or cutlery besides the tea spoons used for making tea/coffee. So if you were to eat in, you'd have to bring your own.

Room was a bit dated Bathroom was very small and dated Hot water wasn't quite hot enough No amenities in room, eg microwave, iron, hair-dryer

The light and air-conditioning were on for us so the room was warm and welcoming. There was a Thai restaurant with friendly staff and reasonable prices opposite reception for dinner. We were able to walk to the beach and main shopping centre from the motel. (About 800 metres). The shower was set up really well so that water didn't flood the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there were extra pillows. I was able to retune the television so we could get more than Channel 9 variants. It has free WiFi.

The motel could do with new paint and some proactive maintenance, tap and toilet dripping. I was told at about 1:00pm that reception had to close at 6:00pm rather than 9:00pm "due to Covid". Not sure how the two things relate? Pressure to "sign in" because the government insisted. When I said that the Gps had us arriving at 6:03pm, I was told reception would be closed. The person found a way around the problem. It turned out the "signing in" was Covid check in, which we were able to do via a code on the window at the closed reception, to the surprise of the person in reception next morning.

I liked the room and the bed and the easy parking. It was clean and everything worked. Staff were friendly. Good value for money. Walking distance to the beach and cafes.

There was alot of trafic noise from the main road at night. And the construction site next door started early in the morning.

we have stayed here previously - excellent value for money. Very clean and good location. LOVE the little packets of biccy's they leave in the room to have with your coffee. Will be staying here again Feb 2022.

NOT the motels fault -- but they were demolishing a building next door --- woken at 6am on a SATURDAY morning by the noisy workers --- no thoughts given to the motels guests

The bed was very comfortable, great pillows Room was very clean Location was close to all things we needed. Restaurants, Bottle shop and beach and convenience store Not 5 star but definite value for money The staff were super friendly

A little close to main road for noise but I found if we closed the bathroom door it was fine

It doesn't look much from the outside but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable (extra pillows available which was nice). Basic room facilities and the furniture is worn but serviceable. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Convenient location.

Unfortunately the construction site next door which started up at 7.00 am on Saturday morning. Other than that nothing really.

the location was fantastic and the room was clean and nicely presented.

the property is a bit dated especially the bathroom and the shower head was terrible it just spray’s everywhere really needs to be changed to a hand held model.

Lovely and friendly owners, central location, typical motel standard, beds were quite comfy, our room came with a little balcony which was a nice surprise

it was a bit weird that our bed was on wheels but other than that everything is pretty much as described as in the description

The room was clean & in a perfect location. The staff were fantastic. Before we got there the lady was so lovely on the phone & when we checked in both the man & lady so nice & were very helpful.
