We enjoyed our 25 night stay at Damrei. The room was large and comfortable, the staff endlessly polite and ready to help. The breakfast was more than adequate. A bonus being an egg station and sometimes fresh noodle soup. The location was an easy 20 minute walk along the river into town, and the old market and pub street. Tuk tuk's always available. We have visited Siem Reap three times and hope to be back next year. We will probably stay at Damrei.

Post Covid everything needs upgrading. This can't be done without people going and spending their money to allow this to happen. We don't really have any gripes, except no hot water in the bathroom sink. We didn't mention it as it wasn't really a problem for us.

The size of the room was exceptional, so big and with a nice terrace overviewing the pool. The location was in a quiet street so no sound at night, however it was still very close to the river and walking distance to the old market area. There was a supermarket nearby and the coolest little family shops and laundry services where you can conveniently do laundry and buy last minute meals and snacks. There were also many restaurants nearby. The hotel also had a spa and the massage I had there was spectacular. The breakfast was also satisfactory with a very dedicated staff and varied choices.

The TV was not tuned properly and there were hardly any visible channels. But I did not come to Siem Reap to watch TV so it was not even a problem.

Overall, the hotel is excellent, we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. The room was spacious and stylish, nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely but there is no gym anymore. The landscaping at the front of the hotel was lovely and calming and the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

The property was a little tired in places, needed a bit of repainting, especially the wall by the pool. This did not ruin our stay, just an observation concerning the feel of the place. We were some maintenance issues with the plug sockets and switches in our room, some did not work.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they will help organise any trips for you including a Tuk Tuk driver to go where / when you want and for how long. You can stop off at the Temple ticket office on the way no problem and travelling independently looked cheaper anyway. Excellent breakfast you can try Cambodian mixed fried rice etc, or be less adventurous with Muesli fresh pastries and delicious local fresh fruit. Really good sleep in large comfortable bed in a quiet spotlessly clean room, useable balcony and free fast wifi, no problem watching movies. English speaking Tuk Tuk drivers always available outside. Power sockets accept multiple types of plugs including UK.

It would have been even better if the Restaurant was open in the evening after a long hot day Tomb Raiding, but there are so many exciting places to eat nearby if you're not tired and lazy.

Location was away from the main part of town. Not walkable and very limited in services nearby. (Smoothie stand across the street is really good!) It is a short TukTuk drive to the main street. WiFi was not great. Was traveling with my teenage kids - both bathroom and shower had frosted doors right off the bedroom - no privacy. We had to do rotations of leaving the room for showers. Beds were hard as rocks - very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Staff were incredibly helpful and could take you through the range of options for trips during your stay. The room was really well kept and furnished. The pool was very welcome. Location was ideal - on the quieter side of the river away from the madness of pub street, but still close enough to see everything. Laundry can be done by a shop just over the road.

WiFi was ok for web browsing but had to tether to my phone for conference calls

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved relaxing in the pool and being in a quieter location. The staff were very kind and helpful. We were sad to leave.

It would have been nice to have been offered some fruit for breakfast.

The room was spacious, clean, tidy, with a balcony to the garden. Breakfast was nice, though not with a big variety. The pool was a perfect relaxing spot. Close to the city centre.

I had an issue with the staff, feeling they didn’t understand my needs and wouldn’t cooperate (things tackled with in a few minutes in Europe).

The location is a bit outside which makes it a great place to have some peace and quiet. You are still able to walk into the main city within 15 minutes. The breakfast is great and the pool is a lovely place to relax. The hotel staff is very helpful and will help you organise your taxis or trip to angkor wat.

The water pressure in the shower was the only thing I can complain about. Other than that it was great!

Spacious room with clean design, balcony, quiet area, lovely swimming pool, decent breakfast, friendly staff.

The wifi was not very good, sometimes regular speed, sometimes very very slow., the shower doesn't have a border on the floor and the drain doesn't work well so anything longer than a couple minutes in it and the bathroom floor will be covered in water so no chance for long showers, which is really needed after a full day walking in the heat (38C).
