Leonardo Hotel East Midlands Airport - Formerly Jurys Inn

The hotel has an accessible entrance via the car park and our request for a quieter room due to travelling with a young baby was kindly granted. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, with particular thanks to Anne-Marie who was a delight to our baby! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the added extra of the travel cot was very welcome. Breakfast was good value considering the quality and range of items available - booking on the day of arrival to benefit from the discount in hindsight, is worth noting. They have a handy tuck shop if you forget items, such as toothpaste and other toiletries as well as things to keep the children entertained, such as colouring books! A thoughtful touch and reasonably priced! Finally, we would happily visit again and this time check out the leisure club including the decent sized swimming pool!

Well we have stayed at the Leonardo before, so we like the fact that it is on site with the airport so when you are ready to go to the airport it is just in walking distance. The hotel comes with a tea and coffee station in your room, the guest can use the gym and swimming facilities in the hotel free of charge. The staff are very friendly from the moment you check in to the moment you leave.

We found for us the beds was quite uncomfortable. But that could just be us. We both like a particular take of comfort when it comes to a mattress.

The room was exceptionally clean, very spacious. It was quiet around the corridors which was a definite bonus. As for the bed itself, it was extremely comfortable. Very rested . Tea coffee, assortment very good. All you needed in the room . Even an ironing board and iron. Was only stopping over 1 night before flight. Would stay at hotel again ifl traveling to airport. A 5minutes walk to the airport. Thanks to the young lady at reception as I arrived early and she said she would look and see if the room was ready and it was. So she said you can go to the room. Thank you cleaning ladies for my very clean room. Also a lovely size bath, to relax in. I was told when asked all the rooms have baths in, also a shower. Thank you.

We stayed one night before flying from the airport in May. We've stayed many times before under the Jury's Inn Brand. A clean, comfortable hotel, no real frills. We didn't eat in so can't comment on the food but when we have stayed before it's always been OK, nothing special. We stay here solely for the convenience that we can walk the airport and leave our car at the airport on a park and fly deal.

It's not always easy to find a parking space in the designated long stay zone in the hotel car park, and that's out of high season!

Staff were very helpful and kind, our flight had been delayed multiple times and I phoned ahead to advise check in would be much later than initially planned. The gentleman was so kind and reassuring on the phone. Selection of toiletries, snacks and essentials were available to purchase at reception which was very convenient. Located right beside the airport which was very handy. Breakfast was exceptional!

Our room was so far from reception, it was like a maze trying to find it. Actually, I got a little lost one time trying to get back!

Perfectly located next to the airport. Attentive staff, who provided a welcome kiddies pack for our little on in the bedroom. Bar staff were friendly and familiar, nice to see the same staff we have seen in previous years, this says a lot about a work place.

The pool was closed to the public due to swimming lessons. We weren't aware of this, we booked because we wanted a hotel with a pool close to the airport. We had a very disappointed child when we were told we could not use the pool.

Great location for pre flight overnight stay. If you fly with Jet 2 it’s a 10 minute walk to departures to drop off luggage at twilight booking before settling in with a drink at the hotel bar and an early night. The previous time we stayed our room was miles away from reception and exit. As we are 77 and 81 and I have some mobility issues it was hard wok. When I booked this time I asked for a room nearer reception, explaining why. This visit, we were really nearby and we were very pleased that our request acted on, good customer service

Excellent location for the airport and if we had known would have left the car at the hotel whilst away as it worked out cheaper than airport parking. Lots of parking spaces and seemed very secure and safe. A nice touch was at reception they offered free soft drinks and fresh fruit which was a lovely touch.

The room was clean but maybe could have done with a little repair here and there but because it was for one night and the price we paid we didn't see this as a big problem.

Really comfy beds, great night sleep. Attention to detail and thought. Free costa voucher and free ice lolly voucher for kids. Lovely food which we are able to take to our room. Lovely little pool with a nice hot jazcuzzi. Staff friendly. Only £5 to park for 24 hrs. Would happily stay again

Only think was it was an extra £6 for room delivery re food. Thought that was quite expensive on top of cost of food, so I ordered it and waited for our room in the bar area.

The location to the airport check in desk. Didn't have time for breakfast! Would definitely stay again, just wish it was not so expensive for a single person!

There was nothing to dislike. Bit on the expensive side for one single person for room only but that was not the fault of the hotel - I could have shared if I had been able to travel with some one else. Unfortunately none of my friends will fly anymore since covid 😰
