The breakfast was excellent/ front desk felt with any issues with speed/ great shower and pool( when it was clean) - great cleaning staff / all round customer service. Towels always clean and fresh- location.

Use of disinfectant to wash the floor of the room daily. Cleaning the breakfast table with a more hygienic cloth - instead of a damp/ dry cloth pulled from their pockets. Net curtains in the restaurant dirty/ falling down. Pool was not leaned / sanitised during the course of the day despite a lot of usage. Had to ask for bedding to be changed after ; days!

The hotel looks exactly like the photos and is clean and comfortable.

The hotel is extremely busy at peak breakfast times and has a long queue. Even at non-peak times, it is still very busy, even for a table for one person. The pool is smaller than expected but plenty of chairs/sunbeds. I had unexpected extra charges for storing luggage before checking in, and for water from the room.

The location is great, and the hotel is nice, large room. Breakfast is nice to.

I had a smell of mold in my room because the fan at the shower room didn't work. That wasn't so pleasant... Good to know that even if you ordered a room for 2 and you are single, once someone came to your room, no matter how long, you can't receive more visitors! Thay change another fee of 150$ rias! Please note!

the location and the facilities are great. the breakfast is amazing!

my bus arrived really early to Rio and my room was ready, but to get in before 14:00 i needed to pay 100 rials more, and if i don’t want to do my check in a bit earlier and i want to leave my bags at the hotel and go grab something to eat outside, i need to pay 20 rials. and more than that, the people at the reception wasn’t nice at all. it’s not a lot of money, but i personally don’t like this kind of things in a hotel. it’s getting you a bad feeling in the start of your vacation.

The staff was really friendly. Breakfast has a wide range of choice.

They should already mention at check in that the water in the mini bar isn't for free and that they charge you R$20 for luggage storage

I'm just gonna level with you: this is a great and busy hotel. Lot of people stay there and the staff knows they have to bring quality (and they do). It's located very close to Copacabana beach (beautiful boardwalk, lots of vendors and pubs with live music) + it has bars/restaurants/shops all around. Very good price (that's why people stay there) and not a single bad thing to say about the rooms (comfy beds, bathroom quality good, very clean). TV has Netflix / Youtube etc. Rooftop has pool area, sunbeds/chill area with amazing views, a steam sauna, bar. The gym is pretty basic, but you can jog and keep your muscles toned (that's the point of a hotel gym). Food was excellent. It has 18 floors. Staff speaks good english. Even all the guests were friendly and constantly greeted in elevators etc.

Half of the machines (that took up large portion of room space) in the gym were broken, so it would be better to free up that space or replace it with something. Other than that this place was excellent!!!

I stayed there for 3 weeks and loved it. Location is perfect, very close to the beach and subway station. Buffet for breakfast is huge! I highly recommend paying a little extra for the lux double bedroom. beds are comfy, large room and bathroom. cleaning is well done. staff at reception are soo nice and helpful + they speak many different languages.

just the gym where there is not one cardio machine that actually works

Great location, comfortable bed, great service and great breakfast selection. Nice touch of providing beach towels.

One of the reasons I booked there was because of the well equipped fitness studio. There were 4 treadmills but unfortunately only 1 worked, and with the hotel full, it was difficult to get any time to use the only available one. I reported the issue to staff but it was not dealt with during my 4 day stay. Pool area is nice, with bar and comfortable seats/lounge area, but music a bit too loud, so not quiet place to chill.

Loooooved the rooftop! Great views of the city, mountains and beach. The breakfast was also full of variety and so filling. The elevators were quick too as it’s a pretty busy hotel.

Staff at reception were very unwelcoming. Need to speak to them before they’ll speak to you or look at you. Charge for luggage storage after checkout. And water in the fridge isn’t complimentary so heads up!

Breakfast - spectacular!

Be careful when they give you the room. My first one was very nice. But at the next stay I got one on the first floor small, and a humid, horrible hallway, definitely not worth the price and depressing. At a next stay I got a 3rd floor room with the toilet handle broken. The pool water should be cleaned more often. Get there with extra time for checkin. Still I would come back for the location.
