Generally the hotel was great, it was so nice to be so close to metros and the Chinatown shops and restaurants. The pagoda and cultural art and Koi fish in the lobby next to the restaurant were a big hit with our little one and our family especially during lunar new year. The room was as expected and comfortable, nice to have a pool/hot tub/sauna/gym on site.

Only thing that I would improve is the staff didn't really explain the parking or to use a printed card given to us in our key enveloppe (perhaps more to do with distractions at the moment in lobby) and so as one of us left expecting in and out privileges we had to pay the daily parking rate upon our exit but we did pay that at the lobby so paid double for a day. Not a huge deal as it was a miscommunication but to note if you are paying for parking to make sure you understand the process.

I enjoyed the breakfast bar, the pool and gym. I really enjoyed the main lobby and how beautiful the scenery is. The cleaning staff did an exceptional job cleaning our rooms. And I liked the fact that the location was close to restaurants and other necessities.

What I didn't like was the size of the pool and gym, since it doesn't allow for much space to work out in. I didn't like the parking garage. It was too small for large vehicles and you'd have to be careful not to run into poles or other cars while down there. Although the breakfast was good, I feel personally it could've been a bit cheaper for multiple people living in one room.

I loved how often housekeeping came when we needed them to, and how they respected not coming when the Do Not Disturb sign was up. I love returning to our hotel room with clean sheets and fresh towels. They even accepted our request to change our remote batteries! I also love choosing between the soft and firm pillows to sleep on. There is also an ample amount of soap, shampoo and conditioner in the hotel bathroom that I barely used what I brought from home.

The rooms are not as soundproof as I would have liked. I was able to hear things right outside my door, but inside the rooms are quite soundproof. My sister even got a noise complaint from neighbours despite them being much louder than her. I was also a little confused about check-in and deposit/credit card authorization. However, the staff was very nice about explaining it.

Love the building. The beautiful details and art in this building are amazing. No hotels like this where I am from. Especially for holiday inn. It felt very special. Loved he customization and the location is beautiful. Chinatown is gorgeous. Walking distance to 3 metro stations and is the perfect location. Two BIXI bike stations were within 2 minutes of the front door. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We had no issues and would recommend to anyone.

The lobby is on the second floor to the entrance/exit and the elevator does stop at the lobby every time, regardless if you pressed for it or not so be aware of that as we got off several times not thinking, As we did not request that floor.

This isn’t really about the property but only place to be able to write negative comment! all to do with extra charge booking.com charged for changing dates of stay and never answered my complaint to a satisfactorily reply very disappointed despite numerous emails and telephone calls. hotel informed me they have alot of complaints with customers of booking.com to be honest I think this is done on purpose so customers lose the will to carry on which I guess I did but it has now made me look at other competitors in the future. shame as I’ve used booking.com for along time.

The beds were very comfortable. And the sheets and duvet was white. I don't like any other colour at hotels, they should always be white. The room seemed quite clean. And the front staff was very friendly, informative and helpful.

The shower pin was broken ( the little button you press down to turn the water to come out of the shower head.) But as soon as we brought it to the attention of reception they sent some to replace the water spout.

The restaurant's dim sum was delicious. The location was perfect for our needs, especially as it was across the street from a metro stop. The staff were exceptional.

While the restaurant was great during our first visit, our second visit was unpleasant. We overheard that they were short-staffed and we tempered our expectations. However, we ordered a prix fixe menu and our two delicious desert options were replaced with a pair of stale gingerbread cookies without explanation or apology. I'm sure this is an anomaly, but it left a literal sour taste in our mouths.

We loved the location. The breakfast options were great too. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lobby tied in with the proximity of being next to China town. We loved the layout and the koi fish.

Disappointed by the size of the swimming pool it was a lot smaller that we thought. Parking was also on the expensive side and not expected. Parking fees should of been clearly marked on website.

Location, it was across a metro station, near by the Montreal NotreDame cathedral. You can get there from and to the airport in less than an hour.

The Business Center!!! It was awful!, there was a PC and a Mac, the mac had a Windows Keyboard and the wired mouse didn't work. They charge you for parking, it is not acceptable to charge parking fees to guests.

Nice, central hotel with helpful staff and good facilities including swimming pool and fitness centre.

Very good location in terms of short walk to old city but lots of construction and a bit of a hang out for local druggies.
