Karen and Kim made a long day of traveling with lost luggage and 2 kids, simply graceful! We were weary from the road and hadn't had much go our way, even worse, situations that made traveling with a 3 year old and 8 month old down right horrible. We didn't know we were going to meet our miracle workers! The kind voice, attention to detail, and empathy made me wish they were family. I will come back over and over again because Karen and Kim!

The property is showing signs of wear and tear, rooms too. For the price point we usually get less wear or less noticeable. Location and amenities make up for it.

Room was very comfortably furnished (good pillows on the bed!), and well-cooled by the A/C without too much noise. View of the capitol was as advertised. Gym looked fantastic though I didn't use it. Pool was small but well kept. Staff friendly and helpful!

The building is starting to feel a bit dated, and it felt a bit expensive for what we got. In particular, $60/night for valet parking is too much, though the staff pointed us to some self-parking options that were a little less expensive. Also, in the future I might stay in a different neighborhood, since this area is defined by the mall and convention center. For tourists looking for interesting restaurants and local flavor, I might look elsewhere.

It was close to the convention center and it had skywalk which was amazing and cool. The staff was amazing at the restaurant in the hotel during breakfast and dinner at the bar the area was well kept it was clean besides dust in certain places. That was my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel and I enjoyed it

The parking lot it didn’t have good directions to the elevator our first day we had to carry our stuff up the stairs from the parking garage. There was dust on the phone and on the TV in the bed room. But other than that it was a good trip.

The kindness of the staff from the front desk to the Valet. The Valet could tell that I was rattled about not being able to find the parking entrance—he came with me to my car, got in, and directed me to the parking entrance. He was so very kind! I also thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with the lady making my omelet—she enjoys her job and it shows!! Convenient to Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The site could have said which street the parking entrance located—my GPS put me as arrived and I was in the back of the building.

The customer service was superb! My reservation got changed from my original booking. Since that occurred Wyatt( made some adjustments to my bill and a few other things) Damian and Yvette provided the best customer service and knowledge needed for the weekend! I will stay here again!!

The only issue I had was trying to adjust the air conditioning. I was not able to get it to a happy median temperature and it was constantly blowing in my face and as a result I became ill.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was very nice.

There was not enough bottled water, which was needed for the coffee maker, and for making tea. The city water tastes bad, so bottled water is needed for coffee and tea. The toilet paper was something that you would expect at a state park, not a five star hotel. There is no free parking for guests. You either pay a valet $53 plus tip, or you need to go to a private parking garage and pay for parking. The sheets could have used a little fabric softener, because they would cling to your night clothes.

The room was great

At check in I asked the usual question about a senior discount, but was quickly declined because I was informed that since I reserved the room via a third party, i.e. Booking.com, I could not get a discount. I tried to explain my quest but my conversation met with a deaf ear. Granted the staff person was quite young. Her colleague adjacent to her other desk agreed that no discount could be offered and that I had to previously reserve the room directly with the Hyatt. In addition I was hit with a daily parking fee of $53.00 to my surprise. Other parking fees were between $38 and $45. I was not happy

When we arrived, Valet was exceptional and the front desk was easy to find! Excellent service and easy to find our room along with the expectation of our room, exceeding that which of what was expected! Would definitely return if I attend another concert!

Didn't enjoy that there wasn't an in-room microwave, I had to travel outside of the room to get to it. Thankfully, I didn't have to change floors to find the microwave. It was a little overcrowded there that weekend because there was a gathering in town, but still, it seemed very spacious at the same time.

Very good location. Room is comfortable and spacious. Staff is courteous.

The two only problems we faced were the free wi-fi (impossible to connect late in the afternoon and in the evenings when most guests have returned) and the fire alarm that went off multiple times in different hours, including during the night; apparently the system was defective as we were informed to go back to our rooms.

Large, bright, excellent location. Very comfortable bed. Excellent city views.

Noises in hallway easily heard in room. Some issues with furniture that were quickly fixed, but overall room needed an update.
