Very clean, they put effort into it keeping the hotel clean, organized, and well presented. Staff are very receptive and helpful. Beds (twin room) were comfortable, clean, crisp, and warm. Location is excellent. Walking distance to both JR Nara and Kintetsu Nara stations. Easy access to the bus to go uphill to the main historical sites. Walking would be about 10 minutes to Kohfukuji. Restaurants around the corner on Sanjyo street in front of JR Nara. A pleasant walk to the historical Nakamura and the shopping street.

Breakfast is a good for Japanese breakfast and Indian breakfast, but the western breakfast eggs and bacon were unappealing. Lot of good baked goods however! Coffee was fine too and there was a pot of chia tea. Room a bit cramped but we were able to open suitcases.

The hotel is very conveniently located at a very short walking distance from the JR train station, and at about 13 minutes walking distance from the Kintetsu Nara line train station. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed in room 606, which also included a sofa and a coffee table, perfect for lounging in the evening, after a long day spent exploring Nara. A free amenity corner is available at the reception area, and lovely Japanese style bathrobes and comfy sleepers are available in the room. The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very kind and helpful. As we arrived earlier than the allowed check in time, we could store our luggage in the hotel, and the lady at the reception offered to arrange for our luggage to be brought up to our room, as soon as the room was ready, which was a nice touch. The breakfast is good and includes both Japanese and full-English options, as well as curries. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will certainly love to stay here again during my future visits to Nara.

Everything was perfect!

Wow, this place deserves the highest rating! So many high end touches for a really affordable price. The desk area was perfect for working with my laptop. The complementary hot stone foot spa was great to try. They have so many additional amenity items you can rent for free. Ice machine, microwave and laundry machine to use on site. The room tv was huge, beds comfortable, housekeeping and staff great. They allowed me to store my luggage upon checkout. So close to JR Nara station and great supermarket.

The wifi signal in the room at times was not great

This hotel is very conveniently located near the Nara Station (5 minute walk). It is also a short walk (5-6 minutes) to downtown where there are really nice shops and restaurants. It is also a 15-20 minute walk to Nara Park where there are beautiful shrines and very tame deer wandering around. The breakfast at the hotel very good. It featured both western style food and Japanese food.

The rooms, themselves, are older than most we encountered while in Japan. Our bathroom was very small and had a raised floor which made getting in and out a bit tricky (especially for anyone who may have mobility issues). There was also a very limited number of outlets for charging devices.

Spacious room and only a 5 minute walk from the JR station. Staff were very welcoming and even brought the luggage I left with them to the room as I would be coming back slightly late. Beds were also very comfy. Excellent value for the price I paid.

Would have been nice to provide bottled water for guests as most other hotels do.

The staff and the services, which were great. They are very helpful and always willing to accommodate the best they can your needs. I felt like home with them. It is difficult for me to feel that comfortable in a hotel with strangers.

The smell in my room to smoke ( I don't smoke). I think they should check the smell or ventilate the rooms. Or put smokers versus not smokers ( I am not smoker and they did not ask if I smoke or not).

conveniently located, rooms were clean and well serviced with lovely personal items. Staff had little English but used translator apps (as did we) so communication was not a real problem. A la Carte breakfasts were delicious. There is also a fabulous heated pebbles dry foot spa for guests use. Highly recommend.

there was no ‘out of hours’ hot coffee facilities available, which so many other hotels offer. Apart from that everything was great

Beautiful hotel! Our room was one of the most spacious ones on our trip, it was wonderful. Just a couple minutes away from the station with many good restaurants in the vicinity. We also had dinner in house once and both the curry and tonkatsu were very delicious. Next visit to Nara we will definitely aim to return to this hotel again!

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous . The breakfast buffet was delicious with a very comfortable and attractive dining room. The location was very good- very near both JR Nara Station and Kintetsu Nara Station. It is a short walk to great shopping on Sanjodorie street. Even though our own Japanese language is very limited , the staff were always able to help us. We were very pleased with Centurion Classic Nara.

The location was perfect; a 20 min walk to Nara Park and all the attractions, and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The staff were possibly the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever experienced. Would recommend this hotel to anyone considering an overnight stay in Nara.
