Right next to JR Nara station work covered walkway access Breakfast was excellent. Definitely go for the waffle Benedict when available. There always seemed to be an English speaking staff member available. Meg (Megumi) was especially helpful. Housekeeping staff on 9 th floor is excellent. Keep in mind this a a Japanese hotel and the single room I had is really small worked well for me but even though there is a full bed would be cozy for 2 people.

The only criticism is I have an allergy to feathers and the buckwheat pillows ( most hotels in Japan use these) and there was not a synthetic option. A 100 yen store pillow took care of this.

The hotel was beautiful with a very chic lobby and elevators etc. Room was spacious and nice, comfortable beds (except for the third bed of our son which was quite hard). Great warm shower and spacious bathroom area. Breakfast was just fantastic! Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Location great if you arrive by train! Otherwise relatively far from Nara park but easily walkable.

Breakfast was until 09:30 and although people who arrived around 09:30 were accepted, the personnel started cleaning a bit early I think (09:15 or something) which Made us feel a bit hasty. Having said that, they were very patient and helpful with our small children at breakfast.

The room was very clean and, as for the amenities, were fully provided. On the 6th floor it has the Japanese dai-yokujo (huge baths, devided by gender). Best location possible, as, once you arrive at Nara and get off the train, it's on the same level of the train station: you. can drop the luggages and start your sightseeing. It provides different restaurants, such as the Japanese Teppanyaki, where the ingredients were supreme, including the wagyu (tried this food exp).

everything was more than fine, so there's nothing to add.

We found the breakfast buffet offering amazing. They are as advertised in the images, with all those treats and drinks and mains, just in a self service buffet layout. It was within the range of JR Nara station as well as its bus terminals, and that allowed us to go around the town very conveniently. There were convenient stores around as well, and a main street started from where we were. The onsen was great and there were various options to chill after it.

It felt catered to office workers and thus the walls felt cold in some ways even though the people were warm

I underestimated how tired my senior parents would be, so instead of walking around, we arrived too early for the check-in. Fortunately, after talking to the hotel staff, they arranged for an early check-in, which was excelent. The bus stops are very near, the train station, 100yen shop, bakery, supermarket and drug store are steps away from the hotel, which was super convenient. I really recommend this hotel!

The room is clean and spacious, but the decor is a bit old need some renovation. The location is good, just next to the JR station.

Parking is convenience, NPC parking just next to the hotel. However, you need to pay JPY300 per hour each time you go in/our the hotel + JPY1200 to stay overnight. It would be better to provide a 'day ticket' with multiple entry to reduce parking charge. The hotel lobby is on the 3/F. It is difficult to locate when driving to the hotel. There is no clear instruction on the hotel website or booking.com confirmation website on how to get to the lobby.

Breakfast, service, room all perfect value for money. Very well organized for breakfast, no long queues or wait despite of busy season of new year holiday. Also very tasty and we could try all sorts of Nara dishes with wonderful service. Well located by JR Nara station. Highly recommended.

Loved the central location right next to the train station, with great rooms, lovely onsens and very friendly staff. The breakfasts were exceptionally great with beautiful Japanese food.

We were unable to get a table for dinner for both nights we were there and unable to even get drinks (which is crazy for a hotel that claims 5 stars) but we ended up having exceptional food and drink elsewhere.

Everything! Hotel is right outside of the Nara Station, very close to the bus stops and tourists information center. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Nara Park is 20 minutes by walk along the main shopping street. Very very convenient! Hotel has a nice natural hot spring and offers unlimited free drinks of Japanese sake, wine, beer, tea and coffee, unbelievable. Room is big, ckean and comfortable.

Attached to Nara Station. Conveniently located. 15 minutes walk to Nara Park. Staff was friendly and spoke well English. Lounge for free welcome drink including sake, wine, coffee, tea and juice. Room was clean and spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night sleep.

The dinner buffet in the hotel failed to meet expectations. Limited varieties of food. Beef steak was processed meat. Salmon and pork overcooked.
