The guesthouse is in a very convenient location and it's a very comfortable base. It's easy to get to from the JR train station and it's also easy to get to Nara Park and the main shopping area.We really enjoyed our stay and we didn't want to leave! You can hire bikes from the guesthouse which looked fun but we didn't get time to do so. We would recommend it.

Having stayed there in the past,we were a bit disappointed to find that there isn't usually anyone on the front desk any more, like there used to be;we enjoyed interacting with the reception team in the past. Otherwise it's a great guesthouse and we really enjoyed staying there;we would definitely stay there again.

The place was in a great location and was in waking distance to the shops and the Deer. The bed was comfortable and cosy. The shower and facilities were good. Having the toilet and bathroom in the room was very amusing as you had to pull a blind down for privacy.

I didn’t like having to type a code into the door to get into my room. The touch pad sometimes was lagging and slow so you can easily mess your number up and lock yourself out of room.

The staff is super friendly and always happy to help you - wish I would have more time to talk to her. The rooms are pretty and the bed is very comfortable. Also there is a kitchen you can use for free, as well as Manga and other books to read, free coffee and tea etc. Also it's just 5 minutes away from Nara Station and 15 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station!

The room only had one window that you could only open a little and it was located directly to the parking lot, so I was a bit worried if it's loud or someone might peek inside - but nothing happened, so there is nothing to complain about from my side!

I loved everything honestly. This was a really awesome stay in Nara. The vibe was lovely with the diffuser and calming music in the reception area. The shower was great and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything was very clean the Hostess was charming. Not to mention you are right on top of Nara station and the walk up to the park is pleasant! 10/10 would recommend!

Small room but great price. Super helpful staff. Everything very very clean. Location very close to train station. Easy check in and helpful luggage storage. Nice curtains around each bed.

Toilet/shower was a sliding glass door with a pull down blind for privacy. Worked well but a little different. Small room- was a in a shared room for 4 for our family of 4. Worked for 1-2 nights but may be harder longer.

The guesthouse have a kitchen that allow you to cook any food. They also have many books and toys to play with. My husband enjoy playing with the toys.

The toilet have transparent door. You need to pull down a curtain while using it. Not fancy of this kind of toilet even I stay there with my husband.

Great sized room. The bed was very comfortable and towels and toiletries were provided. There were some great eateries near by and only a few minutes from Nara station.

The tiny washbasin. Only cold water so it was very difficult to shave and awkward to clean your teeth. I never saw anyone after check in. It felt a bit impersonal.

Great atmosphere and very homely. We loved our stay here. We were stuck here during the typhoon and had a great day! FYI they stick to the check in time rigidly although, as long as there is space,you can leave your bags there before.

Nothing. Literally nothing! FYI there is a blind in the bathroom that you can pull down so that your can’t be seen when using the bathroom

Very close to the station and about 20 minutes walking from Nara Park. The room was very clean, comfortable and pretty. The staff is super kind, and the common area is very well equipped with a small kitchen and many books if you want to chill or learn something about the city of Nara and Japan.

The only (small) downside was the sink in our room, which was a bit too small.

The room is very spacious and very space efficient. It was quite homey and warm! The staff are super friendly and the facilities are perfect for people looking for a slice of life and homestyle stay.

There is no easy access to the second floor, only some narrow stairs which can be tricky to manage with a heavy suitcase.
