Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. The room was great and the level of cleanliness was excellent.

Only one issue ...on our second morning, we went for breakfast and were literally herded to the back of the restaurant where a group of Australian tourists were also being seated. We wanted to sit at a table for two by the window as we had done the previous morning but were refused! Absolutely shocked by this attitude so wanted to eat and leave asap. Very very disappointing in an otherwise great hotel. Staff training required for this young man.

Modern rooms, very comfortable and right next to the station, which is great if you’re coming with all the suitcases from your previous destinations, also right in front you have the bus stops that will leave you next to the Nara Park. Extensive breakfast but a bit overpriced. (2200¥ per person)

I think this is overall in Japan but staff needs to be more guests oriented. We had checked before arrival if there were rooms available (they were) and even like this we couldn’t do an early check-in (we arrived around 12:30).

The hotel and room were clean, neat, and quiet. The front desk staff and kitchen staff were very polite and accommodating. We really appreciated the convenience of the location as it was right next to the station and there was a Lawson’s connected to the hotel if we needed food, toiletries, etc. We also really liked that the washers and dryers were very clean and easy to use.

Completely unrelated to the hotel and property, but there was a lady who had yelled at us for not wearing our masks. We just went to check on our laundry and forgot to wear them. She was on the same floor as us, so I’m assuming she was also a guest. The staff didn’t say anything about our masks, but this angry lady did. Please don’t stay at a hotel if you’re still cautious about wearing masks because you are in direct contact with furniture and objects that have been touched by the staff and previous guests. It just doesn’t make sense.

The location cannot be beat- it is connected to JR Nara station and even has a 24h convenience store on the first floor.

The breakfast buffet is too expensive. Luckily there is a convenienece store on the 1F and a small refrigerator in the room so we were okay with purchasing our own breakfast.

It was right at the station. You can walk to the hotell without un umbrella. There is a lawson conbini in the bottom of the building. There are some resturants at the station but more can be found across the street. Really good bed and pillow. If you used the bath tub, you could watch the TV at the same time. This was a great hotel, the price was very good. We will comeback here again.

The convenience of the location next to JR station, clean, modern room and convenience store on ground floor. They also have a good restaurant and jazz bar.

The room was small. The Front desk staff was not helpful when we asked them to assist us with making dinner reservations at a restaurant. When we called he restaurant they did not speak English and we asked the front desk person to please speak to them on our behalf and he refused to assist us.

Love the size of the room. I was impressed with the breakfast. The shower was interesting with a large shower head, hand held and 3 body jets. It felt new and very clean. .

Not much; I guess the view but it was next to a train station in the middle of the city, so it was hard pressed to have a decent view.

Location - at West exit of JR Nara station. Modern, very clean, quiet room with well designed & thoughtful lighting, comfortable bed & pillow, fantastic walk-in rainfall shower with massage jets! Coffee maker & pods. Lawson kombini on ground floor. Note: the hotel lobby is on Level 3. Tip: book a Japanese twin room - it’s larger & better designed than a standard double, with space to open your suitcases

Location is very convenient, just a few steps from Nara JR station exit. You can use overhead passage too to get to the hotel. The room is very spacious by Japanese standards. I would rate beds as 10/10 in terms of comfort, but DH rated it 7/10 because it was too firm for him. We had a lovely view over the city and conservatory.

All great. I would love to come back again

Good: Pretty cheap at 10k JPY per night. Room furniture is good. Small but cozy. Location is REALLY good (right next to Nara Train Station, there's LAWSON convenience store downstairs). You can either take a bus (4 stops) to Nara Park or walk there (15-20 min)

Bad: Room is a little small but I guess it's not bad for this price.
