Very good location: 3 mins walk from Nara station (which has a very good supermarket), and around 20 mins from Nara park and the shopping district. The breakfast offered a great variety of food (savory, sweet, western and Japanese) and I could see all guests enjoying it very much. The breakfast room is available to all guests until midnight and offers unlimited coffee and tea. The microwave oven can be used to warm up the takeaway food that you buy at the supermarket. The bedroom was okay in size and clean. Very comfortable bed and a minifridge. The staff was very lovely and helpful.

This is something that I've experienced in general in Japan, but for breakfast there are no food alternatives or labels specifying ingredients in the food for those with food allergies. I could still eat some fresh rice, boiled broccoli and fruits.

I like that even tho it seems the hotel was build long time ago,, it maintain the cleanliness. The room is not really squeezed space, just normal one. Same as the bathroom. I like there slippers, very comfy. The table and chair is big and mirror for make up. The breakfast is very like balanced food. Very simple breakfast buffet, which I think it’s worth it. Very affordable price all in all

Maybe the place where you hang your clothes, it’s very small space. The pillows are fiery flat and not comfortable.

Great economical hotel. Booked last minute. Recommend the buffet breakfast which had both western and Japanese offerings. Hotel is located across from the JR Nara station which was great for access. 7-Eleven is just down the street, and restaurants nearby. Nara has a lot to see and do. Being right off the train, this could be a good choice for those looking for a hub to make day trips from. Washers and dryers are available for a small fee in the hotel (400¥).

There were prostitutes on the street near the hotel- late on a Saturday night. This did not bother us.

Great Hotel, with exceptional staff and a very good breakfast. It's well located 5-minute walk from Nara station. The station has a big Supermarket attached. 15 minute walk to Nara Park. Everything was convenient. I stayed here for 4 nights it was great to have the breakfast every morning , the nice walks to the park everyday. Free bikes available at hotel. Great place to get away from the crowds recharge a bit. Enjoyed my stay.

Very clean, comfortable property very close to JR Nara station. Great free breakfast!

Room and bathroom are quite small (typical Japanese “unit bath” style) with no dresser to unpack clothing. Inability to control A/C or heating in room made our room a bit uncomfortable as we were too hot and received a call from the front desk when we tried to bring turn on the A/C.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. In addition, there was an incident where we dropped our card key, we immediately got a replacement at the reception albeit at a reasonable fee. At the end of our stay, the staff said that the card was found and returned back the money we paid initially. Breakfast buffet provided was simple and good as well. I will definitely come back to stay again if we visit Nara in the future.

The staff were extremely friendly and greet you whenever you step in or out of the reception lobby. The breakfast was tasty and offered a wide selection of dishes, with healthy options of salad and fruits. The rooms and facilities are clean and new. It was a very comfortable stay.

Excellent location next to Nara train station. Friendly polite staff, clean and decent size room with comfy bed. Breakfast was really good, and there was free tea and coffee in the library area.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with quite big bed for a single person. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was really convenient to have that option. Location is also great - right next to the JR station.

The stay was pleasant, the staff and facility were ok, the breakfast was good. The hotel is near the train station, very convenient if you plan to travel to other destinations while staying in Nara. We really enjoy staying at this hotel.
