Rooms all good size, fantastic view over the city.Great facilities in room and very clean and comfortable. Portable AC machine in room. Staff all friendly. Hotel is massive with shops, bowling alley, aquarium attached. Good left luggage facilities for no extra charge. Buffet breakfast has a good choice but very busy and quality of food could be better. Buffet dinner had good quality food and choice. Great location being across from Shinagawa train station and about 20mins on train to Haneda airport.

You have to pay for swimming pool which was extortionate even for residents about 6000yen. Under 16's can't go after 4pm.Buffet breakfast has a good choice but very busy and quality of food could be better. Western style sausages were like hotdogs and bacon very dry.Its quantity over quality here.

Basic business hotel standard: Very clean and functional. Everything available which a traveller might need. The location at Shinagawa station incl Shinkansen stop is ideal as a first/last stop in Japan. There are a number of international restairants just outside the hotel and a Japanese entertainment area just on the other side of the train station. Nice views from the upper floors.

The bar on the top floor was closed and we didn’t find any other in the hotel complex either. They direct guest initially to the self-service check-in but the credit card reader speaks only Japanese. Hence we needed assistance from 2 staff members.

The location is excellent, I have been living in this hotel since many times, although a bit old, it is very clean. Bigger room compare to others in this location. The staff are friendly, except the fact they do not speak good english, communication is always a problem in Japan, even if in a big hotel.

This is my second time stay in Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Excellent location for travelers, easily access to airport and all areas around Tokyo. I would definitely go back to Shinagawa Prince Hotel again for my next Tokyo trip :)

There were too many hotel guests queued for breakfast during my stay in April 2023. Probably it was peak period for travelers. It would be good if hotel to have alternative breakfast places to diversify the travelers during peak hours.

Loved all the entertainment options at the hotel, bowling, movie theater and aquarium that was great and surprised us in how much fun it was.

Rooms are a little bit tired and beds could use an upgrade.

The view is stunning and the location is ideal.

The fact that you have to pay a fee when using the rooftop bar, even though you're a guest in the hotel feels a bit wrong.

We liked the fact that the station was very close by since we did a lot of visiting of tourist places while we were there. We were struck by the curtesy of the workers we ran into. In the annex I was helped by one of the workers to get me into the website for the bus limousine. It was very easy to use the luggage hold department. Upstairs in the food court one of the staff there, who was average height and skinny, helped us with our first night ordering of the meals using one of the machines there. He was very friendly and took us to the process of using the machine. On two other nights when we ordered dinner he was right there to offer his assistance in the ordering process. We really appreciate all his help and told him so. He was very humble and seemed to take it as what he was supposed to do. Not only him but the staff we interacted with went out of their way to service us being very polite when doing so. They treated us not as a guest but as if we were a part of their family. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant.

We could have tried to use our phones more efficiently to communicate with your staff. Any communication is a give and take between two people and your staff who knew very little of the English and me knowing very limited Japanese were facing the same problem in communication with each other. The positive is that your staff never seemed to give up in helping us.

Definitely recommend staying at Shinagawa if its your first time going to Japan out of convenience. All major train lines stop here including line directly from Haneda Airport. JR Yamanote line take you to all popular stations. Access to a 7-11 store. Room was a basic corner room with all the basic amenities. Corner window view was nice. Staff was friendly and understanding despite our limited Japanese. Cleaning was done daily and amenities replaced.

The laundry room dryer doesnt really dry, even after putting alot of quarters in. Possibly lint trap wasnt removed. Had to air dry my clothes.

Location was excellent, opposite Shinagawa, one of Tokyo's main stations. We can get on and off airport trains to Narita and Haneda from here. JR and Keikyu line are also available. There is a large foodcourt and 7/11 stores on the 2nd floor of Annex Tower, a small shopping center right next to the hotel, and a supermarket very near to East Tower. Washing machines are available on the 9th floor of Main Tower (I stayed here). I wouldn't mind staying here again for my next visit to Tokyo.

I heard that the queue for breakfast buffet are very long and crowded, but I didn't get my breakfast from the hotel. You can easily get breakfast from Seven Eleven in the hotel. They serve so many options of foods that you can heat yourself on the microwaves provided there, and also treat yourself to some delectable smoothies that they have.

Best part was the location and close proximity to the Shinagawa railway station from where we were able to travel to multiple destinations by just crossing the street. The Breakfast had a wide spread and the room facilities and amenities were quite good. The baggage service option also was quite impressive as we were able to keep our bags when we visited other parts of Japan

there was nothing much to not like other than the breakfast buffet crowd and noise at the venue. also could have a bit more variation in the options from day to day as same food daily can been quite boring
