Our room was clean every day. The bathrooms in the entire hotel were very, very clean. Breakfast was also good. The staff, especially the young guy the reception desk was wonderful and very helpful. All the guys at Breakfast were polite and welcoming. The beds are comfortable. A taxi from the plaza was only 7.80 soles with Uber, about 2 dollars. The pressure of the water at the bathroom was the best in all hotels. I stayed for seven nights and will stay again.

Pros: the room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view! The breakfast spread was expansive. We also really liked the neighborhood as it is a bit more residential and quiet. The staff was consistently kind and helpful!

Cons: the two-bedroom apartment (room 502) is located directly under the restaurant. I slept with earplugs in but was kept awake due to their noise from the restaurant above when they were closing their kitchen service (until 10pm). The next morning I awoke to played being dropped and people shuffling around at 6AM. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend any other room in the hotel. The other issue was the water temperature - at night it was hot but in the morning it was only like warm. We called reception to help with the problem, but they did not fix it by the time we checked out and we had to take cold showers.

Cosy stay in Cusco! The hotel is quite modern and has all the necessary equipment. Beds are good, the shower is well functioning! There is a electric kettle in the room. The breakfast was very good, and especially the view is amazing. The hotel is located at the limit of the historical center, there is like 20 minutes of walk till the central square, but at least you are away from the busy central narrow streets. The hotel stuff was really welcoming and ready to help !

The staff was extremely kind to us, specially the ladies Ana and Vanessa, which were always available when needed, and always very polite! We will come back for sure, specially due to the politeness of the staff.

The room we were assigned had some noise from the outside, as it was located in the first floor and kind of close to the main entrance. BUT, in our last day we were moved to a better room (courtesy of Ana and Vanessa) which were really quiet. Next time we will book our room in the upper floors.

Do it just stay here! The hotel was clean, the staff was super friendly, would give us so many recommendations to make our trip the best possible. The breakfast was good and has a very nice view of the city. We enjoyed our stay!

It is close to the main square but still not in it, a bit of a walk. Easy to get an uber though.

-Comfortable room. A little bit smaller than what the photos make it seem to be. -very quiet neighborhood compared to the busy streets near plaza del armas -staff is friendly and helpful -breakfast is good. Not a huge buffet, but has most of the things you need. It has a nice view as well. -All the days we had an early tour, hotel staff prepared us a lunch box. That was cool. Even in the days we left at 2am. -hotel has a heater in the room, that was very helpful. It can get quite cold in cusco during night time. -very clean -good bathroom, very good shower. Had hot water everytime. -wifi is good.

-location might be a problem for SOME (not all). Cusco is a very up and down city with many hills. Which means that most of the hotels might be located upper or lower than plaza del armas, which is the place you will probably go to eat or shop. Muru is located on one of those streets, which meant we had to walk up and down quite a distance in order to get where we wanted. 2 days of our stay we arrived very tired from 1 day tour and even thought we wanted to eat out in one of the awesome restaurants Cusco has, the distance made us order food instead. Again, this might not be a problem for some people. But it bothered me.

The Muru Homely Hotel is tucked away from the go-go-go of the main tourist areas but very accessible by walking. It feels like you are in a more residential area and the park out the front is a welcome greenspace. The rooms are very modern and clean. The big bonus for us is that there is a heater and a kettle in the room. Cusco can be chilly at night in the cooler season so the heater was essential for us. The breakfast was well presented and had variety with the bonus of a great view over Cusco. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is luggage storage if you are going trekking for a few days which was fantastic.

Great hotel with amazing views over Cusco and surrounding mountains. I'd recommend upgrading to a bigger room with a balcony facing the city - it's definitely worth the extra money! Staff were friendly and helpful with any inquries. Everything was very clean and tidy. It's a 10-15min walk to Plaza de Armas which has not been an issue for us as it's been incredibly quiet at night. We also appreciated the storage room during our 4-day hike to Machu Picchu. I'd defintely stay again.

The check in was easy and the staff was great! We loved the comfort of our beds. The breakfast floor had a great view!

In the evening, we could hear guests checking in at the front desk from floor 2. We could also hear guests’ music from another room so it wasn’t as sound proof as most hotel rooms we’ve been to.

Free parking is included. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the view of restaurant was extraodinary.

The room doesn't have the view. When I checked in the room wasn't ready. During checking out, I was charged with some price of snacks by mistake, but they apologized and returned the cost. The management need some additional improvement for a better customer satisfaction.
