Good location and great value for money - a few metro stops from the centre of town but we walked it in about 45 minutes quite easily. Roof top pool was great for the kids after a day's sight seeing. Good choice at breakfast. Sometimes had to queue but never for long. Clean room and communal areas, and good service at reception.

The sofa bed was small and uncomfortable. Our children are only 10 and 12 but it was still a bit small. Also, they could feel the springs - the first night we put towels under the sheet which helped and then I asked for an extra mattress topper. Not really good enough quality for a Novotel. Also, I agree with other reviewers, there aren't enough lifts, which I know is a hard problem to solve, but is an issue as the rooms don't start till floor 7 and then continue to floor 18, and there are only 3 lifts.

A well run comfortable hotel at Glories in Barcelona. Convenient for the metro to other parts of Barcelona. Friendly staff, secure parking for a fee and excellent wifi. There is a roof top pool and gym although this is very small given the size of hotel. Breakfast is a highlight- very extensive and generous buffet.

It was expensive ! But this is really market forces of supply and demand. We paid nearly 500 Euros a night for a family of 3 and had a room near the lifts ! The lifts were not quite adequate at peak times - so much so that the hotel puts quizzes and puzzles on the lift doors while you wait ! I tried taking the stairs with mixed success. Floors 2-6 are offices for a well known business. There seemed to be a foul smell around floor 6 in the stair case ! Also, while it was possible to walk down from the pool on floor 19 it was not possible to get up through the door so we were forced back to the busy lifts.

The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to restaurants and there was a park directly next to the hotel. The breakfast service was very efficient and we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We found our room to be tidy and clean.

It's a VERY busy hotel, so do expect to wait for the elevator, and sometimes the key cards were not working. Our first evening there, our a/c was not working and it was more that 30degrees. We were melting and it was impossible to sleep (there were no fans). Luckily they moved us to an air conditioned room the next day, but that first evening was tough. Additionally, we had booked a 50m2 room, but our room didnt seem that large. We tried to confirm with reception, but no one could/would answer this question. The pool is much smaller than the photos, and there were not enough lounge chairs for those by the pool. The quality of the breakfast buffet was sufficient, but mediocre.

Very few Bathroom Amenities... in that price range I would expect hair conditioner, disposable toothbrush and disposable sleepers. The major problem in the hotel was the use of 45 minutes time slots in breakfast. When you book a four star branded hotel you cannot imagine that from the previous day you will have to decide in what 45minutes time slot you will have breakfast, especially if you travel with children! It is a major issue and the specific policy had nothing to do with Covid since in the last time slot you had to wait to be seated! If the two abovementioned problems did not existed I would gladly be a returning customer... however....

The same great standards you would expect at a Novotel Hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and especially staff at the restaurants. We had two dinners at the hotel. One at the restaurants on the ground level while the other was at the rooftop restaurant. Both had an excellent variety and great service and great value. Parking is perfect with great spaces for larger vehicles. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety for everyone.

Getting to the hotel on the first day was challenging since our arrival coincided with the first day of the Vuelta and access to hotel was blocked. It would've been very helpful if we were informed about this beforehand since we made our reservation a long time ago and we could've been warned about this. The other issue was the loss of wifi for almost two full days. After contacting staff, we were informed that the reason was the thunderstorm!

We stayed in three hotels in Barcelona for our stay. The location of the hotel was good because I needed to go to a conference located at the convention center, which was just 3-4 stops using the tram, and also 2 buses were available. There is a big shopping center called Glories, and the encants market opens every other day, and also the mirador building is close by, so touring around the area is satisfactory. The location is not as crowded as other hotels, which was perfect for the time of stay. I especially liked the swimming pool because there was a small jacuzzi that was luke warm.

Transporation to other tourist attractions are not as convenient. There is a 100m walk to the subway station and bus station, and the streets are pretty quiet. The room with double bed and sofa bed(triple room) was the smallest of the three hotels we stayed at. The housekeeping staff could be a bit more quick(we asked to clean the room and deliberately waited 2 hours for the staff to clean, but nobody came even after the evening when we left the room for 3-4 hours. We ended up staying in the room not cleaned for a whole day.

Breakfast was diverse and delicious. A fast elevator with interesting puzzles on its doors - in case you have to wait for a while.

Some things in the bathroom, due to which the bathroom corresponded to a notion of a three star instead of a four star hotel - the door could not be locked from the inside; there was no air ventilation in the bathroom; one part of the shower tap fell off (not due to my fault, it was already damaged).

Stayed only for 1 night, however the location etc. was excellent.

In disabled room shower to be provided, instead of bathtub.

Great hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Juan Carlos greeted us at check in and noticed it was my birthday after looking at our passports. He then gave us a complimentary drink at the bar, a lovely welcome! Breakfast was 10/10. A super range of hot food/cold food and pastries.

Pool is quite small and can be crowded at times. Especially with the limited number of deck chairs. You also are not allowed to bring your own snacks to the pool area, even if they have been brought from your mini bar in the room. Far enough from city centre, about 10/15 minutes on the metro then another 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Their breakfast was outstanding, definitely good value for money. Location was also brilliant, and the hotel room was quite good. Will definitely search for Novotel hotels in future travels, and will certainly come back here when I come back to Barcelona.

There were small issues, like the shampoo bottle being empty when we first arrived, and room cleaning in the first morning was not done when we came back to the room in the afternoon. That being said, both issues were promptly resolved by the hotel staff as soon as reported, so all in all, nothing major to complain.
