Although the breakfast was limited, every single item was delicious. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The location was amazing, the hotel was new and beds were comfortable. Less than 5 minutes walk to 2 metro lines (Silver and green); with the silver line an hour trip directly to the Dulles Airport.

Nothing! Perhaps I overlooked it during the booking, but the deposit of $100 per night was a bit surprising.

The hotel was super clean, and the staff were fabulous. The ladies upstairs at the restaurant were extremely friendly. One of the valet parkers was also helpful and so sweet. The rooms were fresh and modern.

I didn't like paying $57.00 a day to park my rental car at the valet, I think it should be free for hotel guests. Upstairs on the 11th floor where breakfast was had a strange odor and the floor was super slippery. I was always wearing pumps, and I kept thinking I was going to slip.

The breakfast was varied, the staff very attentive. I found a cheaper parking just in front of the Hotel.

A bigger room.

I liked the location and amenities BUT I paid for a room with capital views and there were none unless we pressed our faces to the glass and looked hard to the left so it was a tad bit of false advertising.

I did not like the house keeping. it was terrible. initially the room was clean but upkeep after that was null and void. We went on a hiking excursion and there was a considerable amount of leaves. all the leaves were there when we returned to made up beds . Also we had to request toilet paper and towels. I mean it was a bit draining coming back to a room that either was not touched at all or just barely addressed which made it so much more annoying because it really made you think how you could just make a bed and leave it dirty. My wife mentioned once that they made the bed but didn’t change the sheets. I planned this staycation perfectly and her comments about the sheets spoiled it for me on the inside. had I know you all were requesting pictures I would have taken plenty!!!!

The breakfast was great. Really good variety of food plus the staff serving were super helpful and friendly.

The housekeeping service wasn't great. We had to request towels for everyone in the room multiple times and they never came. The staff didn't come until after 4.30 one of the days when we were back in our room already. The hotel was a bit pricey for not having a good service like fresh towels and glasses etc in the room.

We come regularly to visit my son in the Capitol Hill area and try new locations to stay each time. We wanted to try the Navy Yard area. Even though parts of the area of the Marriott were near construction, it was still a very nice area. You could walk to Navy Yard where you would find many restaurants, be near the water, Nationals Ballpark and there was a grocery store and dog park across the street. Our room looked directly at the Capitol and at night I could observe it from my bed at night which was lovely. A major highway ran right through there but it was still quiet at night. The rooftop lounge restaurant was lovely and very active in the evening. The outside ground level lounge was also lovely. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

There was a breakfast offered in the rooftop restaurant which was a "European breakfast" they called it and there was a cost involved which the offerings were limited. They also have coffee for a price. Most places we stay you are able to grab a free cup of coffee available in the lobby area in the morning prior to starting our routine or breakfast. Also, there was water in the room but 2 very small bottles. There is a coffee maker in the room, but I do not like to use sink water all those packaged products and go through the hassle of figuring out the machine, as opposed to going downstairs and grabbing a cup. Those are my only complaints...lovely place!!

Great location to the Washington DC mall, restaurants, and public transportation. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

My ONLY issue came with the bill/ breakfast. I had registered through Booking.com and had a pre-arranged price that included breakfast. When I received the bill, breakfast was added to it. I did finally get it resolved (even after trying to get it resolved in person/ on-site but the manager - Cedric Daily - seemed aloof to my issue, said he would resolve a portion of it but never followed through). When I went to customer service, the GM Theodore Moore, got involved and resolved my issue. Other than this, my experience at the hotel was excellent. It was clean, people were friendly, and we have a very nice experience.

The hotel in city like washington should have a water sprayer beside paper toilet because we use it togather, it is like shower hose .it is cheap and important for some people. and there is a slipper should be in the room. Also, more cans of water in the room should be there.

This hotel is beautiful, very clean, big rooms, the location is perfect. Staff is good, they delivered a better customer service.

The ladies at Smoke Mirrors, the rooftop restaurant were not it, they don’t treat you like guest, horrible customer service, the way the receive customer is not professional, they don’t present themselves as they should or treat a customer as they should. They looked at me and my friends up and down before giving us a table and it was not okay. I heard this from a lot of people that they just go for the vibe of the place but customer service 2/10. Overall the stayed was amazing, I love the design of the hotel, the decorations, I’m definitely coming back. I expect a better customer service from the staff of Smoke Mirrors.
