We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 11,3) and stayed in this wonderful hotel during our visit to Singapore. The staff are wonderful. Our check in was seamless. We arrived two hours before check in just to see if we could drop our things but it turned out they had a room readily available! We stayed in one room with two double beds. The room was big! We had 4 x check in luggages plus 3 x hand carry and we managed to store them all away with plenty of space to spare. The room, toilet furnishings are a bit dated - you can tell from the chipping tiles but it was very clean and had amenities like towels, face and hand towels, bath robes, room slippers, toiletries. Our room came with access to the executive lounge as well as daily breakfast. The breakfast at The Window restaurant can get very busy so helps that they also serve breakfast at the executive lounge where it’s a bit quieter. The location of this hotel is everything. It is literally two minutes away from Orchard Road and right next to it are rows of restaurants and bars. Plaza Singapura that had the Dhoby Ghaut station is about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. Orchard Central - 2 mins, Orchard Gateway is about 4 mins. We would definitely want to stay here again on our next Singapore visit!

The location of the hotel is very strategic. Multiple 24-hours restaurants are available within 200 meters range from the hotel. The staffs were very nice, informative and fast-response. The bathroom was very clean and they do have bidet spray which is very crucial. I appreciate the bidet spray the most.

I booked for room with 2 beds. Although I was informed that it is subject to availability and unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough and get the room with single king-sized bed instead. The hotel still charge me for the extra bed with full-price. I was expecting the hotel to give a decent discount for that situation. Room booking management is a thing that should be improved extremely. Customer shouldn't be able to booked the room if the room is already booked by other customer. Or, at least, give a free extra bed, if it is also not possible, give discount for the extra bed.

The hotel is in a great location with proximity to restaurants, shopping and transportation. the hotel has everything a family may need- breakfast, laundry, room service, fitness and pool. Be advised- the photos of the rooms on Booking.com DO NOT MATCH the actual rooms. call the property to confirm. we booked a room type based on the photos and it was not what we received upon arrival. the hotel staff were very helpful to amend, but the room we really wanted and needed was not available. and we were charged to upgrade to the room size we needed (and the room that we saw in the photos on Booking.com).

Excellent value for money! Very accommodating staff. Great pool area for families. Very central to shopping and food options.

One of the mattresses was a little dippy in the centre, but still comfortable to sleep in. Rooms could do with a slight refresh, but overall they were very pleasant.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to lots of shopping, restaurants, cafes and light train. The room was standard and clean. Our family also enjoyed the sauna and the rooftop pool.

The hotel is a little older and the furniture and TV was old ( and small). The view from the window was also very dull but we didn't mind it since we had plenty of distraction nearby to keep us occupied.

I LOVED the breakfast! So much choice, was something all the family looked forward to each morning (we stayed a week). The hotel is super quiet, we didn’t hear any other guests the whole time except for some music from a wedding on the Saturday night which stopped at a reasonable hour. The location was so good, right on orchard road and near lots of shopping/ food options. Also 10 minute walk to MRT.

The hotel uses a lot of single use plastic, from bottled water in the room to peanut butter/ jam / butter sachets in the breakfast buffet. Is this day and age large hotels should not be using single use plastic!

Very close to a metro , fabulous staff , very warm and helpful , clean big rooms , food was the highlight of the stay

We have two children aged 7 years and 8 months. Our stay was comfortable and excellent. Some of the key reasons were: * The hotel was in an excellent location and amenities were really good. * Staff were genuinely caring. During our morning buffets Helena ensured that we were seated and made sure that my two kids were comfortable and happy. Helena, always spent time with us ensuring that we were well served and the kids were happy. Thank you so much Helena for your exceptional customer service and care. * The breakfast buffet was exceptional  lots of options and fresh food. * The hotel was comfortable and the foyer was really impressive. * The front desk staff and porters were always helpful and really cared for our welfare. * Behind the hotel, there was a really good local eatery "Al Madinnah" and there were very good forex dealers in the Cuppage plaza - just behind the hotel.

Our family trip from Taiwan to St. Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of magical, all thanks to the incredible efforts of Joyce, Mervyn, and Butler Foo. Joyce, the Assistant Director of Rooms, orchestrated a delightful surprise arrangement that made our family feel truly special. Her attention to detail and consideration for our preferences, especially for the kids, created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Mervyn, as one of the Front Office Officers, greeted us with genuine warmth and efficiency. His friendly demeanor and proactive approach ensured a smooth check-in process, setting a positive tone for our entire stay. Mervyn's thoughtful gestures towards our family, especially the kids, made us feel valued guests in every sense. Butler Foo's special room arrangement for the kids was nothing short of enchanting. The creative touches and playful elements he incorporated turned their space into a whimsical haven. Butler Foo's dedication to making our family's experience extraordinary was evident in every detail, and the joy he brought to the kids' faces was priceless. Joyce, Mervyn, and Butler Foo collectively made our family trip to St. Regis an unforgettable adventure. Their commitment to creating magical moments for our family, especially the little ones, left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are immensely grateful for their exceptional service and the joy they brought to our family getaway.

Even though the building is a bit dated, the rooms are quite well maintained. The reception, porter, house keeping services make up for the hotel experience. It was a last-minute booking to celebrate the effort that my girl has put in for the mid year paper. I searched for rooms with a bathtub at the orchard area and came across this hotel. We were checked in at 3pm without any issues, and the front desk explained that there is no garden view available, which is fine with us since we will be out shopping anyway. Upon check-in at the 1st room, we notice that there is no bathtub in the room. Thus, we dial "0" to ask if there are any rooms with bathtubs available. They swiftly arranged for us and got a porter to help us with our night bags to switch to the 2nd room. Upon going into the 2nd room, it is too without a bathtub. Thus, I dial "0" if there is no such rooms, and I am prepared to just settle in and vex on my oversight for the last-minute booking. They apologise for their oversight in arranging the room, and again, the porter help to shift us into our 3rd room, which is exactly what we want! Room with bathtub! Throughout the 1 hour, I dont sense any frustration, and they are genuinely trying to be accommodative, and they never ask me why I need a bathtub. Later, when I left the hotel to grab some food, the same porter who had assisted us, recognised us, and ask if we were good and settled well in the room! I forgot to tip him throughout as I was occupied to get myself settled in. I would definitely recommend my friends or overseas friends to stay here as there are some old school charm in their service. Even they don't have fantastic facilites or views, it is a place that I would love to go back to after a day of sightseeing, visiting and walking around the island.

The lifts are dated, and you can access to the hotel rooms without any room key at all. Thus, people can just walk in and take the lift up to your floor. I am a bit concerned about the safety aspect of this. It can be a point for consideration when the hotel decided to upgrade and change to one that can limit access from outsider. The buffet breakfast is at a small cafe and it is quite tight during peak hours. Thus, need to go down earlier for breakfast. The spread is acceptable for me as I don't eat too much in the morning, with eggs section, noodle section plus the bread/indian/cooked food/porriage/waffle/pancake/fruits-salad..
