Relatively walk to MRT and Bugis junction. Nice wine bar for drinks in main entrance. Upgraded to a Great King Room and worth the bit of extra space - however for 2 people it would be quite cramped.

Very limited storage options for luggage/clothing/toiletries. Shower/toilet combo can be a nuisance but not terrible. Main issue - was disappointed in how long it took for rooms to be cleaned. I think this was an error in communication on the reception staff and not the cleaning staff. Arrived back to my room at 3:45 pm and it had not been cleaned, had to wait for 15 minutes while reception checked guests in, then requested cleaning, almost an hour later I could return to my room. For the price of my stay, this was not acceptable.

The location was as we hoped for. Short walking distance from Bencoolen MRT. Fantastic food literally around the corner and across the road. Easy whem you don't feel like going to explore are when tired from travelling. Hotel facilities were really nice and convenient. Staff was superfriendly and helpful. The room size is what you get for this price. It is not big, but it is convenient and very functional for a stay where you will spend most time outside the hotel.

The slighest discomfort, if there are any to mention, was general warmth / lack of fresh air in the room.. The AC worked fantastic, but we were personally used opening a window for fresh air. I don't see this as a lack of the hotel, but more a thing of accomodation in the tropics one should be aware of. Alltogether still super pleased with facilities and experience!

Hotel G was a superb stay! The location was sensational, 3 train stations within 5mins walking that will get you to any of the major tourist areas of Singapore within 15mins. The rooms were efficient in size. Big enough that you can rest and recoup for your next phase of adventures without feeling like having to climb over everything, and small enough that you don't feel like you have to guilt yourself in staying in to make the most of your booking. The wine bar and gourmet burger restaurant are sensational and right at your doorstep.....literally you can order anything and it will be at your hotel room door in a blink of an eye. Definitely coming back to stay for my next trip to Sg.

As a small gripe, being from Melbourne. I wish the coffee machine was working at the wine bar during breakfast. But this didn't put any stain on my stay here. I will be back!

Location was amazing, close to public transport and very central! The breakfast buffet was very tasty! Highly recommend it. The rooms were clean.

There's no division for the shower and toilet, you have a shower and everything is wet around, and very easy to make a mess of it, my husband and I were super careful every time, but then the floor towel would be all wet and there was no space to hang it to dry. We did ask for the room to be cleaned (hoping for the bathroom floor to be cleaned, and they just made the bed and left the floor as it was before). The room would hold so much humidity because of the bathroom, there was an extractor, but it was all dusty? So probably not working well anymore. The room would then become cold (because of the aircon, that's fine) but be humid most of the time. Not the greatest combination.

Great use of small space, and funky vibe. Good location for a short stay.

The toilet and shower are literally in the same cubicle so the floor is wet post-shower

The rooms were not only very clean, but also nicely and welcoming decorated. The staff is super friendly and the location of Hotel G Singapore is very central. Many activities are within walking distance, however if you must use the subway there are plenty stations within the area. Around the hotel are many places to eat, such as the 25 Degrees bar, which is in the hotel and has great food. The gym is, even though it’s not very big, really good. There are many things you can do and the gym is cooled down by AC. I will certainly come back.

Location was perfect and quite easy to travel anywhere (MRT stations within 5 to 10 minutes walk, lots of buses nearby). The hotel is super clean, I really appreciated the Go Green policy (changing bed sheets or towels based on request). Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of food. The room was functional and well equipped, beds were really comfortable and I had the longest sleep ever for a long time (or was that because of my daily 18km-walks? Lol). The restaurant was full every day for lunch or dinner, but didn’t go and eat there so I won’t judge, but looked really popular.

This is not really a big dislike but I assume this is Singapore standard: the size of the room. however again, very functional with all amenities and we turned it into an experience. Saying this, if I had to go back to Singapore, I’ll probably choose this hotel again.

A really nice and trendy hotel, a delicious breakfast spread included and a great bar downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable, shower was great. Would recommend!

The room was very small, good and clever use of space in the design but if the room was bigger it would be absolutely perfect.

The location was great. It was downtown enough that you don’t feel left out and just out of reach enough to have a peaceful nights sleep within a pretty artsy district. The area is safe and has plenty of food options around (in and out of the hotel), the short 8-10min walk to Bugis and Albert hawker was a huge bonus. The space was well equipped for People With Disabilities (wheelchair) as well as easy baby pram access or even if you just have large suitcases. The walkways may seem a little narrow but it’s more than enough for wheelchairs and large suitcases to get through without a hassle. The rooms utilise the space well. It makes use of the limited space without making you feel boxed it, maximising the loft/studio open feel. The sink is outside the bathroom but it doesn’t feel in the way or awkward and keeps the main bathroom spacious and functional. The powerful hairdryer and aircon was a great bonus for sure. The staff are always on hand to provide help and assistance which was great.

The elevators are a little slow and has a smaller capacity compared to other larger scale one but wasn’t really a huge problem just a little extra minute or two of waiting.
