The location is fantastic but it is the staff/team that make this property truly exceptional. The team in the club lounge made our vacation so special and memorable that we cannot thank them enough. Every day they would go out of their way to to help us enjoy our stay and would always take the time to ask us how our day went. They made us all so welcome as though we were family. Having stayed in several 5 star hotels around the world, my family and I agreed that this is the best hotel that we have had the pleasure to stay in. Most 5 star hotels are generally quite similar but what differentiates your hotel is your staff. They are amazing in everything that they do. If I do visit Singapore again, I will not consider staying in any hotel other than Intercontinental Singapore. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Loved it! Stayed in the junior suite with access to club. All was excellent, location, comfort, club, staff… would definitely come back!

First Booked in the heritage wing but didn’t like it at all: Windows view was straight into a restaurant in a gallery and the room felt ‘tired’. I moved to the suite and it was great

Been trying to get a bill for my stay for the past 1 month BUT both the InterContinental Singapore and Booking.com are refusing my simple request in complete breach of my rights as a customer !

Breakfast is perfect! Your front desk provided a satisfactory solution to an impromptu change in our travelling, for which we are very grateful!

Two: my mum is 80 years old. She slipped off the edge of her bed and onto the floor in her sleep at night, luckily uninjured, and then she got up on her own little by little. The shower room does not have any non-slip design that considering for elderly people, my mum did not dare to take a shower for fear of falling. This two points never had happened in other hotels that we lived, either in Singapore or in other places. I hope these can be improved.

We spent a night in the Classic King Room at the Heritage Wing over the Christmas weekend. Quite pricey - $504 in total. Firstly, the hotel's location is a significant advantage, situated just a short walk away from malls and numerous dining options. Additionally, the staff we encountered were all welcoming! When we asked for 2 bottles of drinking water, the housekeeping staff arrived with 6 - a small yet thoughtful gesture. Besides that, The Breakfast Room actually provides a quite satisfactory buffet selection. We loved the creamy and fluffy scrambled eggs from the Egg Station, although the bacon was a wee bit disappointing. Last but not least, the bathtub was unquestionably an added bonus. A spacious bathroom somehow provides sense of comfort and luxury.

The sole drawback is that the rooms lack soundproofing.

Saying that my stay at Intercontinental was exceptional would be a serious understatement. Firstly, the location is fantastic! The hotel is just a stones throw from all the fascinating shopping options at Bugis (they have a door that literally opens up in to a mall). The breakfast buffet was very good as well. However, the most important differentiator for the hotel was the world class service! I have stayed at multiple hotels across Singapore, but the service I received at the Intercontinental was by far the best! Special thanks to the Head Butler Shirish, who went out of his way to ensure that our stay was memorable (including checking up regularly on us, providing us a complimentary early check in as well as late check out and giving us some great recommendations for shopping!) All in all, a truly memorable stay, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about selecting hotels whenever I visit Singapore in future :)

From the minute we alighted from the taxi we were attended to by door staff. Our luggage was whisked away and taken to our room without any fuss. Check-in was courteous and efficient. Air-con (a must have!) was good and our room was spacious with an air of luxury about it. Any minor issues were attended to immediately with a follow up call from reception to confirm everything was sorted. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and there was a relaxed confidence about the way they went about their business. The breakfast was fabulous with enough choices to satisfy almost all travellers.

Couldn't fault the hotel on this visit and will hopefully return again someday.

Pool was on our floor, perfect for downtime after exploring city

Breakfast was a little chaotic, lots of queue pushing in by other guests who seemed to think they had priority over others. Nothing the staff could do about it, they even looked embarrassed when it happened, it was just the entitled arrogance of a minority group staying there at the time. Nothing really difficult about smiling and taking your turn!

On the side table a glass on a linen coaster and a bottle of water was carefully placed and the angle of placement of the Ibottle was such to provide ease when sitting or lying on the bed. b. A white fabric was placed on the floor and bedroom slippers from the Hotel were placed on the same. c. The room had been adjusted and the bed was remade. d. The Hotel for any reason could not provide us the room at 3pm, so they upgraded us to a junior suite. e. I received the respect of being a IHG Club member. Now, in UK they clean rooms after 3days,as a policy.

Being Muslim we on religious reasons we do not eat pork. In the Hotel Chinese menu there was little to offer with out pork. BUT Again, we received consideration at the highest level; Despite ours being the last order from: The head catering person The lady taking the order, the restaurant person incharge probably The Chef A meal was especially taken order of and I didn't know that a chicken dish had some pork ingredient and I was informed and it was removed, from everything I wanted to eat of the menu. My dinner became a dining experience 😋 😌 ☺️ 😍

Every aspect of the hotel was amazing. The friendliness of the staff is first and foremost. From the staff at the front door, to the front desk, breakfast crew, lobby bar staff and the chamber staff. Leaving our room in the morning, if a chamber person happened to be in the hallway, they would always have a greeting with a smile. As all the staff, anywhere, day or night. The height of professionalism!! Great location as most taxi rides were under 20 min wherever we went. Our son lives in Singapore and we were visiting him. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit, and won't hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you to all the staff for your efforts to make this a memorable stay!!
