The hotel is no longer in its prime and will probably need a facelift at some point soon, however, the location, indoor pool and restaurant make up for the small rooms with a virtual lack of privacy (due to a weird design of the bathrooms). The restaurant is probably one of the finest in Romania...believe me...we have tried the so-called "best" in most Romanian cities. Overall, Sport is still one of the top hotels in the Brasov area!

The Spa was really nice, with two hot tubs (the exterior one is really nice and scenic, a sauna, and a steam bath (even though they only turn the saunas on at 4pm, if more than 4 people ask before, they can begin functioning a few hours in advance). The breakfast is also very good, varied and tasty! The room is well designed and super confortable (great bed and pillows) with a nice balcony. The whole ambience of the Hotel is great for relaxing, fully recommended for some days of in the mountain. Unfortunately, it was raining for most of the time, so we could not walk in the woods as much as we would like, but it is really worth it to take the telecabina and check Postavarul viewpoint - very beautiful!

One of the employees over breakfast was a bit on the rude side, and the receptionists were also not overly kind or well informed (upon check-in, we were told that there is no tourism office in Poiana Brasov, which we later realized was not true). Also, the fact that our room was on the second floor and located close to a ballroom that they rent out for parties, made it a bit noisy at night, until around midnight (even if the door was quite insulating).

The stuff from the pool can be more attentive to customers when order food or drinks from the pool . Also the hotel should reserve the right to select their clientele …. Some customers are noisy and specially at the pool area

The swimming pool (the water was 30 degrees Celsius), the saunas, the jacuzzis are absolutely flawless ! -The staff is generally well trained with a relaxed but professional attitude -The food is good but a bit overpriced -Big parking area

-I would have liked to have had a coffee machine in the room and not just a water heater

Good location, modern rooms.

Overpriced compared to the value. The buffet food was below average. Room is small, not enough space for the clothes. We were with two kids, no linens/bed for the kids. The banister in the terrace isn’t safe for kids.

- good selection of fruits, pastries, salty breakfast options - good restaurant inside the hotel - the big pool in the spa area was better than at other hotels - comfortable bed and pillows, warm rooms - free parking was appreciated and a must in Poiana Brasov considering the parking prices

- exterior jacuzzi while great, it needs some improvements: too much chlorine and too cold water - accommodation prices are too high

Staff was very helpful and polite, the facilities were very clean and nice, the SPA area was also nice and well equipped. The room was cosy and well organized. The view from the restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious.

The room had a very small closet with 8 hangers and one shelf and no drawers. Most of the guests were rude and uneducated: - Breakfast time was really a patience and calm test since most of the guests skipped the line and were "fighting" like there's no tomorrow to get some food fast, even if the food was plenty. - We had to wait one hour and ten minutes for a group of guests to get out of the outdoor jacuzzi so we can also enjoy it for 10 minutes. - Of course, no COVID manners whatsoever, even if the hotel staff was always asking for visitors to wear masks.

We enjoyed the room, kind of chic, modern bathroom with glass door& wall, large bed. Balcony towards fir trees and silence, quite restful. Breakfast was very good, as expected, no super fancies. We had dinner at Altitude restaurant, a la carte - good food, excellent service. Same service level at lobby bar! Pool was accessible, not crowdy, awesome outside jacuzzi. Deep tissue massage was perfect.

Bit of noisy kids racing on the corridors towards midnight, missing parental supervision.

The spa area and facilities are very nice. Food is very good and also the serving was great. I have great words for the staff. Location is right in the middle of the city very close to all attractions.

We had an issue with the room, the garbage was not take from the room on our arrival so we questioned the sanitation of the room. We asked for a prenatal massage, they said they are prepared for it but they were not, the staff had no idea how to perform it so it was a waste of money.

The hotel's location is absolutely amazing, calm and clean area, located in a peaceful town. The kids loved the pool, kids club, and the hotel's grounds. The breakfast is tasty, but it lacks pastries, cookies, and dessert. They have excellent spa treatments. It's worth trying.
