GPRO Valparaiso Palace & Spa

This is a lovely hotel, but very hard to access the town unless you pay for taxi's. We loved the pool area and gardens best of all.

Unfortunately the first room we were allocated didn't meet our expectations at all, and after having to complain we were moved to a much nicer room. It does make you wonder why that didn't happen in the first place. Had a very poor and cold room service meal, still awaiting a refund.

despite beingt oo cold to use outside pool access to inside heated pool was restricted to booking.com. Also the water and coffee pods in the room were not replenished after the first day we were told that we would need to pay for this. it just seemed a bit penny pinching for what is meant to be a 5 star hotel.

Open space, wonderful views from the sixth floor. great sunsets and the Spa was fabulous.

vegan options were lacking in the restaurants.

The Valparaiso Palace stands as a vibrant homage to 70s design, a time capsule that evokes waves of nostalgia. The staff, joyously engaged in their roles, added to the pleasure. Opting to splurge an additional 15 euros on the spa proved rewarding, sparking a family fun session unlike any in recent years. We all emerged rejuvenated, our skin radiant from the variety of water therapies. I wholeheartedly endorse setting aside an afternoon for this revitalizing escape.

Regrettably, the midday meal didn't hit the mark. At 38 euros, five diminutive prawns and a nondescript side salad seemed preposterous. The prawn salad mirrored the disappointment, presenting flavourless, watery, defrosted prawns. The 110-euro price tag for such a subpar lunch for two was nothing short of outrageous. Seeking better culinary refuge, we ventured to a local establishment for dinner. Hopefully, breakfast will be better!

Nice spaicous room, lovely pools and fantastic spa. Food was delicious and fresh, more of a lunch feel than dinner. Very clean facilities all across the property and pool. Nice pool service with great friendly staff. Breakfast is one of the best of any stay anywhere - especially enjoyed the bubbles....

Not easy access to City but a great short stay location. €7/8 taxi to Palma - €11/12 to Central Palma/Borne/La Llonja. We got 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double as reuested. Air con not cold but I think this is a the law now. These are only minor gripes, lovely property and will return.

the hotel was sparkling clean, the pools were beautiful and the spa was lovely. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious with an option to have cava or a Buck’s Fizz. The restaurant food was superb, good cocktails and an extensive wine list. The staff were cheerful, attentive, helpful and professional. We had a great break and left feeling refreshed and revitalised.

There was nothing not to like. It didn’t bother us, but prospective guests should be aware that the hotel is on top of a fairly steep hill and about 40 mins walk down to the cathedral area of the town. Made for wonderful views from our balcony!

Our third visit to this hotel. Lovely place, , staff very helpful, good choice at breakfast. Fabulous pool area and very comfortable sun loungers. The hotel is situated out of Palma but we liked that so we can walk in and taxi back and it is a bit quieter than the hustle and bustle of central Palma.

My only gripe would be that for a five star hotel they should provide you with bottles of mineral water, coffee pods and milk every day without having to search for them, asking the maid or reception then depending on who you ask depends on whether you get it or not!!

Everything about the property and our stay was exceptional. The staff were very pleasant and helpful; lovely room and amazing views; the food and drinks were better than any hotel we have been to (including a great breakfast service); the facilities extremely well-kept and clean; and even live music some evenings was a nice touch!

There was nothing we did not like about the property, but one thing to bear in mind is the location. Not too central, but only a short taxi journey away. There are also nearby shops for the essentials.

The location was a bit too far out from Palma. We have stayed in this hotel in the past and the facilities were much better. The second pool wasn't filled. The jacuzzi area in the pool available was green on the bottom. There was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided. We were charged 6 euros for 4 teabags and 6 sugars and a bit of milk. We paid over 1,000 for a 4 night stay, so this seemed a bit extreme.Even the lower standard hotels provide this free of charge.
