-The room is spacious -The hotel is clean and the housekeeping staff were very friendly -Wi-Fi is good in the room - The food was good quality and variety - some staff at the restaurant were amazing they were working happy smiling 😊 -The receptionist guy was a Marvellous and friendly welcoming me.

-The girl who works at the swimming pool doesn't speak any English and didn't understand anything I asked her. I felt uncomfortable as she was telling me something that I could not sit on a chair and other clients looking at us. -The cocktails aren't good. -They won't let you take a banana from restaurant to your room. -Most bar staff don't speak any English, and sometimes they pretend to understand, and you get false information. -in my opinion, if you get a room with a pool view, it's going to be ruined as people there sunbathing and they will be watching you on your room so I mean no privacy at all. -No entertainment Note: * I know the place is Tenerife and the local language is "Spanish," but if you work at a Tourist Hotel, you should speak at least English*

Very helpfull staff, clean room, easy parking. Food was great. Pool clean, nice. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception who was handling our check in and out, every hotel manager has to be proud to have such employee.

Location is perfect, quiet banana plantanion from one side. Near the "garden beach", which is beautifull.

Everything was ok, Location of the hotel is great, it's near the beach also short walking distance to loro Parque. Breakfast was great, size of the room was ok, it was clean, also the staff was very polite.

Working time of the pool ( just until 18.00 hrs). Most of the people are during the day out from the hotel.

There were a few members of staff that really made the stay special. Two of our group are gluten-free/coeliac and Diego and Nelson were both wonderful in making sure we were able to get safe food in the evening. We had two my favourite club apartments for a family of 5 and the rooms were both spacious and relatively well equipped (if a little in need of a refresh in places). My kids enjoyed some of the activities in the kids club, in the gym (extra cost for machines) and in the main and indoor pool (extra cost).

Parking nearby is not easy. Do not park in restricted areas including yellow lines/curbs. Our car got towed which ended up being an expensive mistake (€182). The dining facilities do end up getting crowded and while there is a lot of choice it can be a bit of a scrum. If you book through booking.com, but pay at the property, then they expect payment on arrival and don’t accept Amex. That was inconvenient and expected for me.

Great breakfast buffet and same for dinner. Staff will help you with everything you ask them. Pool and pool area was very clean. Room was very neat and daily cleaned. I recommend to get the "My Favourite Club" rooms when booking. The snack lounge is really nice, if you have the MFC or all inclusive option you can have various snacks and drinks all day as much as you like, open from 10:30 to 21:30. 5 minutes walking from hotel to the beach. 15 minutes walking to centre of city. 10 minutes walking to Loro Parque (best zoo I've ever seen) There even is a little beauty salon on peremisis where you can get things like Mani/Pedi or even a haircut/shave for 10-20€.

Bar cocktails were not so good. We tried 4 types but all were the same, just tasted like different flavours of grenadine on ice. As a young couple (24/29) going here it was a little uncomfortable to see that about 90-95% of the hotel guests were of older age (50-85). The mini-fridge in the room was empty. No ventilation in the bathroom. Rooms have 2 small beds pushed together and that is not very comfortable as the beds are light-weight and move apart very easily.

We and our children enjoyed our 10-night stay at Alua. The food was basic but we found something to eat every day. We ate out a few times. The entertainment was good. Our room was nice and spacious. I chose the My Favorite Club option which is worth it in my opinion as the kids enjoyed jellies, marshmallows, a different selection of nuts and branded drinks which are not included in the all-inclusive. Our room was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily.

The only complaint is about the gym, you have to pay if you want to use it.

The room size was big and we had great ocean view. We also had mountain view from the bathroom and hallroom. Good choice of food at breakfast.

Crowded breakfast and the hotel is a bit old in some parts. No parking was available.

This is a very great 4 star hotel. We got the opportunity to change to higher room category with benefits where I could make an offer. We took it (for ridiculous money) and it was accepted. With that we got the "Favorite club" benefits, with basically free everything from minibar, snacks and sandwiches during almost whole day in a special area in the lobby. The hotel has it's own spa part but we went down to the ocean, but it looked nice. Food was also great, with much option choices.

I cannot complain which is a rare occasion. It's in a great place, we went up in the mountains and to the beach very easly.

-Property was nice clean and big -Size was very good in the family room -had most things needed in a hotel room - Cleaned twice daily without fail -Good breakfast Variety -free bus to town daily -lots of activities in the local area -new modern rooms

-staff in the property did not explain things well for example when we arrived they did not tell us about the my favourite club facilities meaning we missed out on snacks and drinks for the first few days. -No iron, staff informed us there were no irons which was fine but we spent hours in town looking for one when the hotel shop had one. -Staff at reception we’re always busy therefore limited with the amount of information they could give. -spa isn’t included in the price you have to pay extra to use the indoor pool. -some hallways in the buildings are a bit dated

Everything was fine. Close to three beaches. The middle one is great for high waves. One is great to be without special shoes. You can buy them everywhere thou. Close to the bus station, where you can take a bus to go on a trip. Ex. Santa Cruz when you don't want to rent a car. In the close walking distance of 10 mins you can get to Loro Park, where all the tourists from the island are advertised to go. Really pleasure to go with or without kids. Pool is fine. No rush.

Too many people for breakfast and dinner, but you can manage to go at different time. Dinner is great and modest between 19:00-21:00, after that it is craziness.
