Well maintained, nice facilities, great location, very nice breakfast

The toilet had no ventilation, the walls were quite thin. Pool open only until 18pm and breakfast served only starting from 7:30am which some could find too late

The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was in good and very varied. Dinner is served as buffet with good variety of food - nothing glamorous, but a good option if you are not in the mood to go outside. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center, on a hill. It does not require great physical shape, but it might not be a pleasant walk for everyone.

We had two different experiences within the same hotel: first night we checked in a room at ground floor on the pool side. It was great to exit the room directly in the garden area, however the room was rather dark and cold, with a very humid air. By the time we came back from dinner, a wall in the room was completely wet from inflitration. We reported it to reception, but the hotel was full and they could not change our room. However next day when we came back from our trip we found a note of appology with a proposal to change the room and a bottle of champagne. The new room was very spacious, sunny and also seemed recently renovated. If we had it from the first day, our stay would have been perfect.

Really beautiful, clean and quiet place. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Prices were good. I recomend a room with a pool view, its amazing! During the day on the pool area there was entertaiment and games and in the night in the terrace was really nice live music. There is a park on the back of the hotel, very good for walks.

The food was a bit of a dissapointment. Breakfast was the same for 7 days so a bit boring. Dinners were okay, not good or great, just okay. The restaurant's closing time was 22.15 but when we went at 21.15 we felt a bit rushed to finish our food. We ate for 20 mins, lots of the food was already being taken back.

This was our second time on Taoro Garden. This time we reserved room with a beautiful Teide view, and we had sun on the balcony in the afternoon. The next time, we will do exactly the same. We have tried several hotels in Puerto de la Cruz (including Valle Mar) but this one is the best one! Excellent situated, and the town is easily accessible using the stairs - gives us good exercise! I like go swimming in the sea in the harbor area, even if the hotel has a nice swimming pool. We will come back!

It seems that the rooms maybe need some renovation. The wooden floor at least on our room (227) was partly somewhat uneven.

The room on the 4th floor was comfortable and quiet, with balcony and sea view. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff at the reception and at the breakfast room/restaurant was very polite and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant 3 times out of 7 days and the food was fine. As the hotel car park is not big, it is good that the staff told us about a public car park nearby where we never had problem finding space. The hotel is 15-20 mins walk away from the centre of town, but guests have to be fit to walk down or climb up stairs or paths to get there and back to the hotel. No problem for us, but others may find it challenging. We never used the swimming pool (not interested) but the garden is very well kept and there is a public park just outside. We liked being in town but out of the centre, with easy access to the motorway to reach other parts of the island.

Bathroom with no bidet, but outside Italy that is often the case. I found it ridiculous that the hotel charged for using the safe in the bedroom. To recharge the mobile phone by the bed I had to unplug either the main light or the hotel phone; an extra socket there would be useful.

Good quality was good. There was also sufficient staff, which makes the experience better compared to other hotels.

There are only 10 parking spaces for guests. Why even say there is parking…

The hotel is situated it the calm part of Puerto de la Cruz, with a large garden and right next to a very nice park. The hotel staff is great, very kind and happy to help you when needed. Breakfasts were good, even if focused on the German tourists. But there was some local food as well. Bathroom and hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is on a hill so it takes a while to walk uphill from the city. But there is a shuttle bus service available for those who can't or don't have time to climb up.

WiFi was terrible unfortunately. The signal was strong enough here and there but not in every part of the hotel room and during the majority of the day it didn't work at all. We had to use our own mobile data. Definitely quite an issue if you need to work remotely. The distance and the need to climb uphill is a bit sad but that is something which is obvious from the location of the hotel so you have a chance to know that in advance and prepare for that. But as mentioned in the positives, there is a shuttle bus service compensating this "handicap".

The hotel is located in a park, which was really nice. It was great to walk through another vertical park to reach the city center. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful.

The room was comfortable and well-kept. However, it was a bit dark since there was no ceiling light. The lamps provided enough light, but having a light on the ceiling would have been more convenient. The breakfast served every morning was okay, but it was the same every day. It would have been better to have more choices.

This hotel again was fantastic. It never ever disappoints. Its in a fantastic location, love the gardens and the local park. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay here exceptional. Again special mentions to Ramon, Nuria and a very special mentions to Jessica and Manu. We did have a small problem but it was sorted very quickly and efficiently. The spa treatments in this hotel also worth a mention absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

My only negative was there was children here as we booked thinking adults only BUT its in the wording children not recommended. However, although a negative for us the children were not a problem had we have been in August maybe it would have been I don't know.

Great staff, very friendly and communicative and helpful. Lovely view from our 4th floor bedroom of the surrounding area and the mountain on the horizon. Excellent food, and a huge choice at breakfast and dinner. Lovely swimming pool. Great garden next to the hotel. Good place to start longer walks around Puerto de la Cruz and the neighbouring area. Easy bus access.
