Room was clean and cool - we've got the opportunity to have the window by the sea, not by the parking lot - which was great! The hotel is close to the central station and to the central square... but during our visit there was heavy work which caused a delay of ~10 minutes for reaching the central square, by foot.. All was well - price is "just-right" for what they offer. Will visit again for this price.

Room 324 had a half-eaten chocolate by a previous guest, hidden inside the wood closet. The bathroom faucet was leaking water, very slowly and in small quantity. The bed frames seem to be quite old as well. The internet speed (Wi-Fi) was extremely slow - fluctuating from 800 KB/s to 1 MB/s. This internet speed is not acceptable in 2023, for any self-respecting hotel, in my opinion.

Overall, this felt like a proper, professionally run place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, plentiful, and the reception was continuously staffed. Room was small but clean and comfortable for me. Kinda like a ship's cabin but then again not. See below. I enjoyed the communal area where they had free tea, coffee, and cookies throughout the day. Breakfast was good. Quiet and easy to sleep for me at night. Nextbike bicycles for rent in front of the entrance. Value for money was okay for me.

I was kinda expecting to stay on a ship in a cabin. But actually this is a floating hotel, which doesn't even have an engine to move by itself but is towed to places. Location is a bit too far away from the center to be comfortably walkable, especially with the humungous construction going on along the Göteborg waterfront everywhere. Better rent one of the public bikes or scooters in front of the entrance. Around the hotel, there is not much in terms of restaurants, cafés, or shopping.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. Cakes and drinks available on arrival. Good value for money.

My partner was happy with the hotel and how helpful the staff were. I can only say be careful in the expensive municipal car park as the surface was very uneven. I caught my foot and went flying, ending up in hospital with a broken hip. So instead of 2 nights in this hotel I had a fortnight’s excellent treatment and care at the Molndahl Hospital!!!

Very kind staff, who clearly love their job, makes for a very warm welcome. To be upgraded to a seaside room with a view at the docks was a nice bonus. Nice clean room. Breakfast exceded my expectations, very divers offer which accommodates most dietary restrictions (such as vegan, lactose, gluten). And to see seals swimming by, makes breakfast even more enjoyable.

The bathroom had both a regular shower head as a waterfall shower head. Sadly the 'waterfall shower head' was clogged, so I wasn't able to use it. Because it was the last day when I wanted to use this, I've only mentioned it to the staff while checking out. But I'm sure if I'd mentioned it during my stay, they would've fixed it.

- customer service: - The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The staff was efficient and friendly; the reception was helpful with the questions we had. - Hostel facility - the facility was very tidy and proper. The bathrooms were clean, the beds/lines were very comfortable, and the noise level was very minimal. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop deck to enjoy the beautiful Gothenburg sunset. - Overall experience/value for money - Overall, the Gothenburg hostel is worth recommending; the value of your money is worth your booking expectations.

The view was really nice as were the staff. We were able to get the room a bit earlier than what the sign in time usually was so that made it easy to get our stuff into the room and then left us time to do things in the city. The breakfast was very good! Price was very competitive and taking into account that it was included in the price, I will say that the quality to price ratio was very positive. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel. The parking costs weren't high for one night since it is lower during the off-peak hours.

I am having hard time describing anything that wouldn't fullfil the needs that we had. Maybe a mop to get the wet floor in the bathroom but that would be slightly nitpicking. There was a towel we used to take care of that. I wish the parking was included in the price but it is understandable.

The experience of some boats crossing past us outside the window while we were inside the room or eating breakfast is fantastic. The room is a little small but comfortable and convenient enough. The breakfast was great, with so many choices to eat and drink.

It took quite a long time ca. 15-20 mins to walk to the center, and that is the only choice. It had construction on the way to the center, so not so many nice views to see and enjoy while walking.

I loved the fact that was in a ship and was so well equipped and all the facilities were there accessible to everyone! You had free cookies and tea/coffee and water 24/7 and the hotel staff were super super nice! We we’re leaving very early in the morning and they made us very rich breakfast bags 😊 totally recommend it!

The check in is very strict, it’s 15:00 not a minute early, but if you go early you’ll be still very welcomed with other facilities that the hote offers.

Very nice hotel close to the center of Götheborg, abd also close to the main station. The hotel is actually a ship and the rooms are therfore not too big, but still all that I needed. I would go there again.

The restaurant is not that nice and I left after waiting maybe 10min without getting the menu card. At that time the restaurant was practically empty, only one table was occupied. The staff recoginzed me, because I change a few words when entering the restaurant.

Room was a little small but alright for one night. The breakfast area was a little small, a lot of guests were having breakfast at the same time and we had to wait a long time, when you forgot to get something at the beginning of the buffet you had to get back in the line because you don’t want to be rude. Also not so many seating areas.
