Location, rooms and bathroom were all very good. It’s a joy to stay in Clarion.

Not about the property but about the sleeping experience. There are no other alternatives to choose for pillows than the one’s already available in the rooms. And unfortunately they are quite uncomfortable for ones enjoying orthopedic pillows which are neck and head supportive. For a hotel like Clarion trying their best to provide a comfortable stay, it is a crucial topic I believe. I’d be glad if you include different pillow alternatives guests can choose and ask. Thank you.

Great location, great atmosphere at the bar and lovely hang out spot in the late afternoon on a sunny day on the terrace outside. Roof top pool is nice but one has to pay and book a time slot. Breakfast buffet offers a great variety but service is more or less none existent. Reception staff great and very friendly.

Pool use is payable and you need to book a 2 hour time slot. Seems to be common in Sweden. Service at breakfast is poor, no clearing of tables, area looks a little tired and old.

Excellent place, just in front of the trin station. Family room has a nice street n river view. nice facilities, big washroom with bathtub. nice continental breakfast. valuable parking fee.

there is maybe a few drop of protein stain on the toilet seat which is diagusting and hard to clean up, and i didnt notice that at beginning. and guests need to pay and extra fee for the swimming pool which can be better if free of charge considering of the price.

I did not know the pool is not including! Early morning ask att the reception how it’s work?the staff said have to book and pay extra. that’s fine I went back after breakfast like 40min it was full ! 40 minutes ago staff should’ve offers I should book directly because it can be full and you have 2hrs ., Feelling not get helpful not good information 🫤

The level of comfort was decent. Even if you book the lowest category of room. The hotel is beautiful and the old building is a nice place to explore. A nice rooftop pool adds to this.

The building is a nice one to explore, but it can be quite confusing to some people. As a result, sometimes guests in bathsuit walk through the lobby to change from the rooftop pool elevators into other ones...

Staff (especially the staff - excellent, friendly and efficient), location, views, rooftop pool, breakfast - all tiptop.

Air conditioning: The room far too cold to sleep in, couldn't be adjusted up temperature-wise. Big minus. Maintenance issues: 1. 2 or 3 sockets in the room didn't work. When we entered the room, the two lamps did not work for this reason. 2. Shower powerful and hot, but loose, impossible to aim the jets correctly. 3.Toilet roll holder fell off the wall. Food & Beverages Problems getting a vegan café latte, as only the bar outside open! Had to use time getting higher level staff to sort it out. Waste of our time. Lobby toilets Needed a code they had not informed us about. Odd.

I have stayed here many times, primarily because I like to travel by train and it is right next to the train station. It is also casual and lively with a nice atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable. I like the high ceiling rooms in the old part best.

Breakfast can be crowded. As a large hotel it can feel a little impersonal.

Great location. Beds were great with big comfy pillows. The room was really nice and the gym was super nice. We were very happy with our stay.

We booked this hotell over another so we could use the pool, but it was full so we did not get to swim. We booked at booking.com.. so it took some time to find our booking at the hotel. Not a big problem though. Food: I am vegan. I did find things to eat at breakfast, but it would be easier if the smoothies and things than are vegan had a note. I had to ask the staff a lot and they didn't really know so they had to ask someone else and the third person knew... so I used some time to make sure that there was no animal products used.. And some of the vegan and gluten-free food was kind of hidden in a a dark corner.. Other then that I had a lovely breakfast.

We love our stay at Clarion Hotel, we even extended ine more night which was not part of the plan. The room we booked was cozy and spacious. The location is literally in the city center and a minute walk from the tram. We even got the chance to use the rooftop pool. There is also a Japanese michelen star restaurant within the hotel building with nice food and good service. The hotel staff are nice and accomodating. All in all, very excellent service.

Just absolutely great in all aspects- locationn, room, cleanliness, products, restaurants, vibes, pool, gym, spa, breakfast!

the additional cost for pool access is rather a poor surprise, esp with all the other great services provided.
