Very nice hotel, great location, good English pub next door.

For a hotel of this calibre, and cost, I would have expected to find a coffee machine capable of making a cappuccino or espresso etc in the breakfast room, as opposed to having to pay extra to get one. This is not a luxury item; my hairdresser serves me a cappuccino or espresso when I get a haircut and other Elite hotels do have them.

The location is very convenient, both in terms of taking the airport bus and other transport, as well as getting around the main points of interest in Gothenburg. If you prefer to take taxis, there is a taxi rank outside and always seemed to be a taxi waiting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good, though if you are there at a busy time it can be a challenge to find somewhere to sit. The room was quiet as well, in terms of being able to get a good night's sleep.

I ended up staying there on two separate occasions on this trip as my return flight was cancelled. The second room I stayed in looked like it suffered a bit of wear & tear, particularly in the bathroom. And the hotel seems to host quite a few conferences, so be aware that there may be lots of people in reception at certain times or the bar being taken over by conference delegates, as happened one night during my stay. (There is always the Bishops Arms next door, which had an excellent range of beers.)

Beds were good and so was breakfast. Good location for the airport bus and the University . Lovely hotel.

However after a pleasant start, there was horrible live music on Thursday night, so loud I had to go out instead of eat at the hotel. Friday and Saturday nights were a nightmare—it turned into a party hotel spilling out into the street and did not stop until at least 3 am. Because the room was over warm I had to open a window a crack. So could not avoid it. Otherwise it was very quiet. Makes a guest feel unimportant if you have to leave to socialise and eat.

Very good location! Good staff. Bag storahe is availiable. Breakfast was good, but specific. We found food for us 😁. Please, put more nutella 😂😂😂😂, it looked like it was the best product for children! and pancakes! Thanks!

Extra bed was the worst i have ever seen! 🤦‍♀️ why not to make extra bed normal? The room and carpet was not very clean. Using extra bed helped me to see all the dirt in the corners! Bed cover was not clean also. there was no shower gel in the room. Made reservation for 3 persons, but everything was x2! Cups, glasee, towels. I think, if you ask, you will get extra staff, but why not to put things x3! if reservation is made for 3 persons?! Swimming pool needs reservation and not availiable after 16:00, if uou are with kids.

I needed to print off a file for work and they responded immediately. This made my stay so much easier and I really appreciated it.

My room was too warm and I had a hard time controlling the temperature. I ended up having my window open 24/7. I heard others complaining about this as well. To their credit, they did seem to turn down the central heat for the entire building so we could sleep more comfortably.

Breeakfast was very good, but lacked an omlet station to get fresh eggs cooked. Room was a large size and had a functional shower in a stall (unlike much of Europe).

Our room on the 3rd floor had a skylight that could not be darkened. THis woudl be brutal in the summer when days are long. It was still annoying even in April with Summer time.

A fantastic and comfortable week-long stay in Gothenburg! The staff was exceptional, especially the gentleman that works the night shift. He was incredibly kind and accommodating! The fully-equipped gym, the plentiful breakfast buffet, and 24/7 free coffee were amazing. I would not hesitate to return and look forward to staying here again next time I'm in town.

The room was outdated with broken fixtures. The breakfast buffet area got very busy and crowded.

Fantastic location right in the centre of town. It is very close to the Gothenburg Art Gallery and the design and Culture Museum. Also very close to pay parking. Lots of restaurants in the area. I was very impressed by the gym and spa facilities, which included a dry sauna, steam room, and relaxation pool with a lovely view of the park. Staff were extremely helpful e.g. in booking the spa. Good breakfast.

Free parking would be even better.

Excellent staff who were very accommodating and professional. The hotel is nicely located in the heart of Gothenburg. Maybe investing in some sound isolation would be good though. The street and park lane were quite loud despite of the windows being closed.

Cleaning could be improved. We found half melted medical capsules under the bed and cobwebs/mildew.

the restaurant does lack menu options. Found it a bit bizarre that I wanted to change one of the sides of my dish and was told the kitchen did not have rice...anywhere! would have expected something different from a restaurant at this level of a hotel.
