The staff gave me outstanding service, especially Jenna and Linda. They remembered and used my name which made me feel valued and at home. As a solo traveller I really appreciated the genuine care I received. The hotel bar/restaurant had a great atmosphere and was popular with local people. I felt comfortable and safe there on my own. I particularly liked the reception being staffed 24 hours.

The local bus service did not continue after about 7.30pm. (This issue was not within the hotel's control of course). A copy of the local bus service timetable at reception would have been useful.

the high spec bedroom and bathroom! so beautifully done. very cosy but fresh and light. bed was super comfortable. the staff were amazingly friendly and engaging! gave us lots of information, checked we were okay multiple times & gave tips for the local area. they weren’t too busy for a little chat which makes such a difference! we enjoyed watching the planes fly over from the skylight as we laid in bed!

only two VERY small issues, the telephone in our room was horribly dusty, and personal opinion of us- the food we had felt overpriced for what it was. My other half did say breakfast was really good though! we would definitely come back!

We stayed a couple of years ago and rebooked because of the positive experience the first time. Staff were friendly. Location is good - about 25 mins walk into town. Free parking. Nice decor of the rooms. Clean.bathroom with lovely Arran toiletries and rainforest shower. Good value for money hotel. Love the 'do not disturb' sign.

This time we booked the standard room - last time we had the superior room which was indeed better. The room we had this time was very small. OK for one night but quite tight.. The bed was also small and we are neither big nor tall people - and the mattress wasn't the best. I'll be booking the higher category room again when going back.

It was wonderful! The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. The staff is amazing, they were very accommodating at letting my guest checking in first as I was going to be late. There is a restaurant right in the hotel which is helpful and close so some shops if you want to get other things. Plenty of parking available. You would think it would be very noisy since it’s there’s restaurants and function rooms with activities happening but not in the room we were in.

Not much. Location is not the nearest to town but still decent and easily reachable by car - at least half hour walk away

Room was excellent with full wet room facilities Both restaurant delivered nicely cooked breakfasts and good service. Dinners were delicious with variety on the menu. But best of all we’re the friendly staff in particular reception staff from the moment of arrival& throughout my sta

Ground floor room meant proximity of car park. Perhaps a thin screen on the window would have given both privacy&light. I had to keep the blind down which made the room dark

It was an attractive room (despite the silly cushions on the bed), clean and comfortable. The heating was at the right temperature (there was snow and ice outside). The shower was easy to enter and use. Dinner on the first night was good - two courses and wine for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was good with plenty of food and options. The staff were all friendly.

Returning on Friday, night 2, there was a very noisy private function on and my room, 19, seemed to be right above it. I thought it would stop at midnight but gave up reading at 12.30am and tried to get to sleep. I can sleep through noise but lots cannot and, if my wife had been with me she would have been complaining to reception. On leaving, I found an error in the bill.

The dinner was disappointing for the cost but the breakfast was very good, lots of options and freshly cooked. I paid extra for a superior double room but didn’t feel it was any better than the double room , less space and an awkward cupboard for the fridge and tea tray which could be easily fixed by changing the side of the hinges. Great event and service throughout our stay. Good bar and drink selection too!

I don’t think the room was worth paying extra for .

We stayed here for a family party (they also have functions rooms) and would definitely stay again. What a lovely wee hotel, decorated really nicely, rooms are small but perfectly formed, everything you need and the comfiest bed. The staff were super warm, helpful and welcoming. Have the full breakfast - you will not need to eat for the rest of the day, every breakfast item you could think of, freshly cooked and on on your plate - oh there's also a continental too!

There was nothing not to like and I can usually find fault somewhere....

We were stuck in Aberdeen for two days due to snowy weather and were very happy we chose this hotel. Quiet, cozy, and nicely decorated. Rooms were clean and staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There’s a cute little shop that sells decorations and gifts not far from the hotel. Worth the short walk for something to do.

Standard double room is very small. We upgraded to a bigger room next day and thought that was money well spent. Would consider the location to the purpose of your stay. For our purpose it worked perfectly.

Excellent hotel!! Myself and others from my business have been using this hotel recently a lot for work and the facilities have been excellent. The hotel is located out of the centre a little, not far, maybe a 20 min walk or a 5 minute drive, I like the fact the hotel is out of the centre a bit so it’s in a nice a safe, quiet area of Aberdeen, excellent for travellers with a car. The rooms are first class! New smart TV’s in each rooms which is very nice when your working away from home. I think the bathrooms have all recently been upgraded and all have really nice marble tiles and very cool walk in showers with rain fall shower heads. There is also nice bar restaurant attached onto the hotel called the Bothy which does really good food the staff are all very friendly and helpful would highly recommend this hotel for either a work stay or a weekend away if your travelling or passing through Aberdeen. all in all 10/10

can’t really fault it.
