The location was incredible, waking up to the sunrise over the sea, free parking, friendly staff, hassle free check-in and check out, bar and restaurant with a really tasty dinner, and a hearty breakfast. Mazey, Brooke & Phebe were hospitable, polite, and friendly. Mazey went well out of her way to collect shampoo and conditioner for me as I had left mine at home. You ladies have exceptional hospitality skills. Thank you all so much xx
Absolutely nothing that we didn't like

The place, the staff, the view of the windows - sooo beautiful. Coverack was at this August day not full of tourists. It was the normal life there and the atmosphere was just perfect. Great food as well. During the dinner next to the windows we saw a basket shark. And early in the morging after the gulls waked us up we saw the sunrise in front of us sitting in the bed. Beautiful! It was one of our best stays in this two weeks holiday! We are going to come back in some years!
It's more a Pub/Inn and that was great in the evening. But at night the old house wasn't quite and you here the pub well... If I know that before I can handle with it.

room was clean and well presented and although there was a quiz (full house?) going on in the bar the noise was not too bad and accpetable. The housekeeper was genuinely friendly. The view was awesome.
The breakfast lacked imagination. I am a celiac sufferer so needed gluten free food. Although I was given two slices of taost there were no more available. It would have been good if there had been some yogurts or tinned fruit available.

The location of this pub cannot be beaten. Perched on the headland overlooking the ocean in the pretty fishing village of Coverack what’s not to love! Jamie the new owner of 9 months has taken over the legacy of a previous long term owner & is making a huge effort to continue the pub as a community facility while also provide comfortable lodging for travelllers like us. While there are some cosmetic upgrades needed - new curtains, carpets & a repaint - the room was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. We chose the larger room with the small couch, but be aware this is next to the exhaust system for the kitchen so you will hear this over the sound of the waves if you have the windows open. Fortunately the kitchen opens at 8 & closes at 8 so it never interrupted our sleep as we liked the windows open. Highly recommend & look forward to a return one day to see how Jamie continues to develop this pub.

Location and view were fabulous, and staff friendly and obliging. We enjoyed the breakfasts and had dinner in the hotel on a couple of occasions; the fish and chips were fantastic - best I have tasted, with very fresh fish and big, crispy chips. The crab was amazing too. Paris Hotel is a typical Cornish village inn, with both local and tourist customers; we enjoyed taking part in the regular 'pub quiz.' and making friends with other customers. The hotel has 2 parking areas (but one is also available to 'pub' customers also).
Only downsides were the sticky surfaces virtually everywhere (apparently due to cleaning materials used for Covid-19) and the weird noises coming from the plumbing/heating system. We tried to remain positive and laugh about them, likening them to the sounds of a robot from some 50/60/70s Science Fiction film, but they did make it difficult to sleep at night.

It was in a beautiful place. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was outstanding very tasty and nice. One of the best breakfast at a hotel I’ve ever had. The staff was all lovely and friendly highly recommend. Outstanding views of the sea.
The pub itself is looking tired and could do with a upgrade. Other than that a lovely place to stay. A Bit overpriced for us purely cos pub bit tired looking.

Incredible location (right on the coast) and loved the lack of light pollution at night which meant could see amazing stars! Pub/restaurant had great atmosphere (quiz night and football) and enjoyed time there
Could have been noisy if people had wanted to go to bed early (considering the rooms are inside pub).

Fantastic location with a sea view room. Good walking paths and beautiful white sand coves nearby with turquoise water for swimming, snorkeling. Very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Pool table, bar. Lovely evening meal, we had dressed crab salad and a burger. I really loved sitting outside watching the Gannets diving into the sea! Beautiful place and I'll definitely return. Free parking too.
No bad points.

An extremely well-located hotel near the harbour in Coverack. The room was clean, a decent size and had a lovely sea view. The staff (Maisie and Anya), were extremely helpful and even offered to put a (delicious) meal together for me as I'd arrived after the chef had left.
Can't think of anything

We booked to stay at the Paris Hotel for one night during a recent walk on the coast path as part of our long term walk around England. The hotel is right out on the point at Coverack with the sea on three sides and almost separated from the rest of the village, with a beer garden right on the point next to a small car park. We found a friendly and efficient welcome at the busy cheerful bar downstairs and were shown up to our rooms by the bar staff. The rooms are fairly freshly renovated compared to the worn in bar downstairs and the bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. We had a window looking out over the beer garden and out to sea and enjoyed watching the waves and gulls and ships, and later, stars. We were there on a Friday night and ate at a nearby restaurant. The bar was lively and thronged, with the fun downstairs ending around 1am on the night we were there.
There's a door somewhere near the stairwell that slams shut over and over when the bar is busy, which meant my wife and I only got to sleep once the pub closed about 1 am. Breakfast options were pretty limited.
